Cumberland / James Dougherty

would be grateful for any help with the mother of James Dougherty who was born between 1841 and 1847 according to various census. the 1881 and 1901 have him born in Backworth, 1847 & 1843 respectively.
He married aged 21 (approx yob 1849) to Elizabeth Graham in Whitehaven in 1870, both from Cleator Moor, and his father is shown as Peter Dougherty, occ Coal Miner.
an 1861 census for Threapwaite Road, Cleator, has a Peter c1821 b Whitehaven
Sarah c1827 b Whitehaven
James c 1847 b Whitehaven, plus four other children.
1871 census for Bowthorn Road, Cleator, as Dockerty, has same family with Peter c1819 b.Whitehaven
Sarah c 1831 b. Ireland.
1881 Peter Docherty is widowed aged 60.
any pointers appreciated.

Northumberland / Alice Mary Monaghan

would be grateful for any help in finding Alice's mother.
Alice married in 1912 in Benwell, from 10 Bentinck street, and her father is shown as Thomas Monaghan, Labourer. both witnesses...HOBSON... were from her husband's side.
A birth certificate for Alice Mary Monaghan for 5th Jan. 1888 of 21 Brougham Place, Newcastle,
shows the father as Thomas, occ.Labourer, but the mother is shown as Isabella Duggan.
Found a Thomas and Alice Monaghan on 1911 Census at 54 Noble Street, Elswick, with sons, thomas, James & Charles.
Found a marriage entry for a Thomas Monaghan/Alice Duggan for the Sept qtr 1883 but couldn't seem to find any marriage of a Thomas to an Isabella Duggan?
have also had difficulty tracing the family on 1881/1891/1901 have tried different spellings of surname.
Would be grateful for any help.

would be grateful for information on the parents and background of Sarah Jane Clarke. She married from 11 Ogden Street, Millfield, Sunderland, on 6th May 1893, aged 26. approx y.o.b. 1867 Her father is shown as John Clarke, Mariner, Deceased.
her husband wa Michael Whealings, aged 29, of 6, St. Margaret Alice Street, Pallion.
According to the 1901 Census, Sarah is shown as aged 29, born in Bradford c1872 , they were living in Stockton Street, Hartlepool at the time.
any help would be much appreciated.

Lancashire Lookup Requests / William Henry Tucker

would be interested to find information on WILLIAM HENRY TUCKER's parents. He married CHARLOTTE DYKE 29th August 1859, in Liverpool, aged 22, his father is shown also as WILLIAM HENRY TUCKER, listed as Admiral in Royal Navy, but unable to find anything else on the family.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Who were his parents/siblings?
he was in Coldstream, Berwickshire on 1841 Census
then in Northumberland with his wife Elizabeth nee Oliver and family from 1851-1881
then as a widower in Gateshead on 1891, finally in Byker, Newcastle 1901

Looking for the parents, siblings etc of Benjamin Leishman c1819 and Agnes Ormond c1818 who married in Dalkieth 1842.
dont have a Census for 1851 ? but they were in Tranent Mains 1861/1871 1881 in Prestonpans then Old Row, Drunmore, Midlothian on 1891.
Can anyone help?

Can anyone help with a marriage between John Oliver born c1791/Elizabeth Stanley c1788
Living in Coldstream, Berwickshire, at 28 Duke street on 1851 Census
First known child, Elizabeth, born 24.11.1821 and Baptised in Coldstream 23.12.1821
Elizabeth appears to be just with 2 children, Stephen & Agnes on 1841, again at duke Street . John would be a farm Labourer presumably as on other Census.
any help appreciated.

Can anyone help with information on the parents & family of Haswell Thompson born c1796.
He married Isabella Morris on 5th August 1837 his father is shown as Assey Snowdon( a Joiner) on the marriage certificate?
He was a Furrier by trade and was living in Bishopwearmouth Sunderland on 1841 Census, but not born in that county. He died aged 52 on 30th June 1848 in Sunderland.
Isabella died 9th December 1890 in Sunderland aged 87
His first marriage was to a Martha Dawson in 1820
any help appreciated.
