Technical Help / Do you want to leave this page
« on: Sunday 10 April 16 22:58 BST (UK)  »
Good evening,

For about a month now, nearly everytime I press the back button a little message box opens on screen. It says "are you sure you want to leave this page"
                                   Leave this page
                                   stay on this page

I'm starting to get really annoyed with it, it just did it when I opened up TOT only this time when I clicked on "New Topic" Of course I want to leave the page or I wouldn't have clicked on something else.

Does anyone else get this problem, it only seems to be since I changed to windows 10. Never happened before.

On behalf of a friend of OH I am looking for pre 1980 exterior photos of Latchmere Primary School in Burns rd, Battersea. I believe it is now converted into flats or demolished and flats built on site.

If you are able to help please send via PM.

Many thanks in advance, John915

Sussex / Unknown couple
« on: Monday 11 August 14 23:29 BST (UK)  »
Good evening,

I put this photo up on the recognition and dating thread which didn't really help me find out who they are. However they may be from my uncles side, my aunt being my mothers sister. He was a Hutchison from Magham Down.

So, a long shot I know but does anyone else have this couple in their family photo album. Or recognise them, I would really love to find out.

Good evening,

This photo was among many I inherited from my aunt. We don't know who they are so a date would help.

WW1 In Memoriam / 3 September 1918, Sgt Arthur George Knight VC
« on: Tuesday 05 August 14 23:49 BST (UK)  »
And again,

Sgt Knight was a resident of Haywards Heath, born and went to school there. Emigrated to Canada before the war but returned and enlisted.

This plaque was the result of several years of work by our Branch Chairman with the help of the council. It was unveiled outside of the town hall on Monday afternoon.
