The Lighter Side / Census 2021
« on: Tuesday 02 March 21 19:48 GMT (UK)  »
Good evening,

Just done my bit to aid future RCers. Census letter dropped through the door today so i've completed mine. Got a thankyou email while I still had my finger on submit.

BUT, the letter is a little misleading, it says "all households should complete the census ON sunday 21st march or as soon as possible after". However, when you go to census.gov.uk and check, it tells you that you can complete it online as soon as you receive the letter.

I'm of the opinion that if everyone tried to do it on the 21st the site would overload and crash.

For Sale / Wanted / Events / Memory bears and others.
« on: Monday 19 October 20 20:55 BST (UK)  »
Good evening,

A friend of mine makes memory bears for people. She does other things as well equally as good. But the bears are really good.

Have you got something you don't wear anymore but love, she will make a bear out of it.

Something a loved one wore, she will make a bear out of it.

See some samples here on her facebook page;

This is mine, made from one of my old combat jackets.

Good evening,

Until this week we have not left our house and garden. So all the humourus bits are a great stress reliever, like this one.

July 21st 2053 was a very special day for Peter, He had just opened the last pack of loo roll his parents purchased in 2020.

Good evening,

We have an RBL committee meeting due soon. Inline with the issued guidelines we are going to do it via e-mail.

The minutes of the last meeting have been e-mailed out. The next step is for all those who make a report to send that to all comm members. We then read everything and send back to the secretary a yes or no for each report. We make any comments on the previous meeting and bring up any other business at the end.

The secretary can then do the minutes from the replies and send that out to everyone'
