Hi There,

Please can someone help me on finding a baptism of James Mulholland.

I have James Mulholland's Royal Navy Seaman's Records, and the info it states born: 8th Feb. 1895 Hull, so i looked up the birth register, but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a birth registration, all i know his father was also named James.

I found two write ups on James Mulholland senior in the Hull newspaper: James Edgar Mulholland  on the 8th Feb 1907 got to be a licensee at Juno Pub, Church Lane, Hull.
and
James E. Mulholland on the 7th Apr 1916 got to be a licensee at the Pioneer Hotel, Bishop Lane, Hull.
The problem i have i dont even have the mother's name to James Jnr.

I do have on the 1911 Census in Hull, James Mulholland 16yrs a boatman.

Any Help Please!

World War One / Question Please on Birth of Royal Naval Officer in WW1
« on: Sunday 10 May 20 17:51 BST (UK)  »
Hi There,

I'm helping a friend on his grandfather's ancestry.

This is what i know and found:

James Mulholland Royal Naval Seaman born 8th Feb 1895 Hull.

Service Number: SS 5288

Marriage: 24 Dec 1921 St John the Evangelist, Hale nr Farnham, Surrey. (Alice Frances Norris)
(Father of James, is also called James)

So on the bmd register there's not even a birth in 1895 for James MULHOLLAND, any answers or suggestions are welcome.
