Aberdeenshire / Quarry Death/ Blackhills quarry in Cruden
« on: Sunday 24 July 22 10:09 BST (UK)  »
Hi I am trying to find information regarding a death at The Great North of Scotland Granite Company’s  Quarry Blackhills near Cove/Cruden 5th June 1905 which was also called Blackhills and now Leith’s Quarry. A relative Alexander Masson Cow/e was hit by falling rocks and knocked to the bottom of the quarry and killed; I can’t find a related newspaper article and don’t know of a register for accidents in Aberdeenshire quarries. Any help is appreciated.

Hi I am still looking for a great aunt named Maggie/ Margaret Coyle born in 1911 in Clydebank Old Kilpatrick parish. Her parents were James and Annie Coyle from Donegal; her family apart from two sisters all remained in Clydebank. Her oldest sister Mary (Anne) born in Muff Donegal emigrated to Canada and married Alfred Rutherford. Her sister Sarah married James Spencer after moving down to Epsom Surrey. We think maybe she may have emigrated.

Donegal / Look up help needed St.Patrick's, Killygordon- Rosann Quigley
« on: Tuesday 09 August 11 23:23 BST (UK)  »
Help! Have been told my grandfather James Coyle was baptised in St. Patrick's R.C. Church, Crossroads, Killygordon circa 1864 and that his mother was Rosann Quigley and father was named as James Coyle. Can anyone advise where i should go from there.
Any certificates i have bought on IFHF/ rootsireland.ie for James Coyles of Donegal have turned up a blank.
I am unsure if Killygordon is also Donaghmore.
James Coyle married Annie Smyth in St. Patrick's Eskaheen/Iskaheen Muff in 1884.

They had other children i think called Daniel, Emma, Catherine( known as Cassie)  Mary and Edward.  They emigrated to Duntocher/ Clydebank area of Dunbarton, Scotland. Iwould appreciate help in trying to find out other details i.e birthdates of other children, marriage date of grandparents etc. Any suggestions of doing so would be very helpful.
