London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / Joseph Risbridger of St. Katherine by the Tower 1678-1740

Hi, I recently knocked down a brickwall discovering that my Joseph Risbridger, gentleman of Capel and Ockley, Surrey moved to London c. 1730 and was buried (as Joseph Resbridge) at St.Katherine's church 27/3/1740. I am wondering if he left a will and understand that LMA has indexes to the wills and administrationsfrom the Royal Peculiar Court of St.Katherine by the Tower 1698-1804 as well as the wills themselves. If anyone is going to the LMA and has time I would be very grateful if you could check the years around 1740. If there is a will I will order it from LMA. Thanks. Phillipa

Berkshire Lookup Requests / James Silk marriage lookup

James Silk my 3 times great grandfather was bp Walcot, Bath, Somerset 1801. I find him again in 1819 witnessing the marriage of his cousin Robert Silk in Westerleigh, Gloucestershire. Same year
James married Hannah Simmons in Wickwar, Gloucestershire and bp son Jeremiah 1820 Westerleigh. After that he disappears. Many public trees on Anc have James marrying Ann Heath in Shrivenham, Berkshire 26/12/1825 and setting up home in Hatherop, Gloucestershire,where he died 1845. Can someone kindly do a lookup for me please in case there are any hidden clues? Thanks,Phillipa

Is there any kind person out there who would check the following for me?

Marriage of Ann Roberts, St Marys, Luton, Beds 8/2/1794 to Isaac Ivory of Kimpton, Herts. Are there any useful annotations not on familysearch

Also baptism of Ann Roberts d/o John and Mary, St Marys, Luton, Beds 3/6/1770. Anything extra of interest?

I am a direct descendant of Isaac Ivory and Ann Roberts (as well as his brother Thomas Ivory via a cousin marriage) now living in Rome, Italy.  Thank you. Phillipa

Hertfordshire / Amos Wilfred Pryor WW1 soldier

My relative Amos Wilfred Pryor was born in Walth Abbey, Essex 1883. In 1911 census he was with his wife Florence at 23 Cecil Road Waltham Cross, Herts. He served in the 4th Batallion, Royal Fusiliers, City of London Regment as a private as was killed on the Aisne, France 14/9/1914 with no known grave and is commemorated at La Ferte soud Joarre, War Memorial.

I am wondering whether he is named on a war memorial in the Waltham Cross/Waltham Abbey area. His name is not on the plaque insidey Waltham Abbey Holy Cross Cburch. Any help much appreciated.

Hello, can anyone with local knowledge help me. My Seabrook ancestors lived at BEESON END FARM Redbourn up to around the time of the 1871 census. I have seen online that this farm was purchased
by John Blundell Maple the owner of "Maples" in Tottenham Court Road after 1889 and included in his Childwick Stud Farm. I would like to visit this area when I visit the UK in August and am wondering whether Beeson House in Beeson Lane (grade listed farmhouse now two cottages nos. 1 and 2) is the same place? Am also trying to sort out the children of William Pastmore and Elizabeth Wethered specifically Maria b. 8/10/1810 baptised 11/11/1810 in Wheathampstead. She is not mentioned in the father's will of 1828. Could she be the same person as Maria infant buried Sandridge 7/11/1811? both parents are buried in Sandridge. As anyone do a look up please to see if the parents names are added. Thank you.

England / Thomas Brooker and Thomas Barrow

My direct ancestor Thomas Brooker who died in Horley Surrey 1736 was married to Ann. They both left wills and had 4 children Thomas 1719, James 1721, Ann 1723 and John 1729 all in Horley. Son Thomas married Frusanna Tidy 1744 who had a sister Mary Tidy (born 1714 m. 1738). I do not have a marriage for Thomas and Ann or know when/where they were born. I recently came across the will of Thomas Barrow of Shere Surrey written 1731 which names his BROTHER Thomas Brooker andchildren Thomas, James, Ann and John plus his NIECE Mary Tidy. Is this the same family and if so how are Thos Brooker and Thos Barrow exactly related? Any help much appreciated. Phillipa Brooker

Herts Completed Lookup Requests / William PATMORE of Wheathampstead, Herts.

Hi everyone this is my first post. Can anyone help me find the the burials of William Patmore yeoman of Wheathampstead, Herts. (who made will 1828 proved 1832) and his wife Elizabeth (Whethered) Patmore who was living in 1828. I have checked the NBI but found nothing.  After Wheathampstead, Harpenden or Sandrige parishes are a possibility. I live in Italy so cannot get to SoG or Herts Archives. Any assistance greatly appreciated.
