I am interested in any newspaper articles regarding Prudence Jennings b.1903 in Golborne Lancashire which may explain the circumstances of her death in Detroit. She moved to Detroit with her husband Herbert in around 1927.
She died 24 March 1931 and is buried at the Grand Lawn Cemetery, Detroit.
Any other records regarding her life and death in the USA is greatly appreciated

Hi there.  Would anyone like to help me find what happened to David Henry Williams & his twin brother Thomas Edward Williams please? They were born on 15 Feb 1854 in Liverpool.  They were with their parents & siblings in 1861.  In 1871 David was with the family but Thomas was a patient in the Southern Hospital at the Liverpool Workhouse. Their occupations were Riggers.  I haven't been able to locate them after 1871.  Many thanks in advance - I know many of you like a puzzle   :)

4 children of John Barton Brooker b.1837 were born in Constantinople between 1870 & 1876.  I would like to find records showing John leaving Britain & returning.  It is possible that the family didnt arrive in Britain until after 1881.

I am assuming John was in the army????? If he was, can anyone suggest where I start to look for these records please?

Many thanks

« on: Saturday 30 October 21 11:27 BST (UK)  »
Hi

I am looking for any info about a mining accident in St Ewe, Cornwall in February 1821.  In particular Joseph Dyer who was killed there.  He was buried 3 February 1821.

I learned that he died in a mining accident from a note made on his son John's baptism record which was in September 1821.

Many thanks

Cheshire / Help finding a document please
« on: Thursday 21 January 21 18:00 GMT (UK)  »
I have found a newspaper article which reads:

12 March 1887 • Warrington, Cheshire

"I Robert Ditchfield decline to hold myself responsible for any debt my wife Annie Ditchfield may contract after this date."

Can anyone direct me to the source of this article please?  I assume it relates to an official signed document somewhere?

I have learned that Annie Ditchfield was arrested and imprisoned regularly for theft.

All help appreciated.

Many thanks
