Inverness / First name of a Scottish female, Not sure if this us the right place foIanswythe

I am not sure if this is the correct place for this query.  Please move if more appropriate elsewhere.
It is out of curiosity.
I have Ianswythe MacDonald Grant 1922 - 2016 daughter of Ewan Smith Grant and Edith Pursey.
She was born in Duthil and died in Pitlochry. I have googled the name and eventually found it on a list but couldn't get a translation of which country.  Scandinavian?  Recently in the news an Anglo Saxon princess Eanswythe.

Please can anyone help me find out more information on the above.

James Alexander Grant born 16/11/1910 in Cove, Dunbartonshire.
Father    James Grant   Mother    Mary Campbell  married 3/01/1910

I do know that he went to New Zealand and have a possible passage on the Rimutaka 5/07/1929.
He married and had a family and died but I haven't been able to find any information on him in New Zealand.

East Lothian (Haddingtonshire) / Janet Bertram - who were her parents?

Help please to find the right parents of Janet Bertram.  I think she was born 1733 and she was married to Gilbert Dempster.  There appears to be two options - William Bertram and Helen  Brotherston or John Bertram and Mary Dods.  I hope this is enough information.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

World War One / Where to find a map of lookout posts in WW2

I hope that this is the right place for this.

Out walking my dog today and met a lady and we started to reminisce about the changes to the village.  I asked her about the cottage behind her farm and she told me that a few years ago two men with a map asked if they could look at the cottage.  They told her that it had been used as a lookout post during WW2 and that they could see where it had been modified.  Alas she couldn't remember where they were from.  There are a few sites around the village that I know of but it would be interesting to find out if there are more.  Does anyone know if maps like this exist and where they are kept?  Any suggestions welcome.

Can anyone help to find out when Florence went to South Africa.
 
She was born 6/10/1923, 432  Dumbarton Road, Dalmuir, parents Alexander Cameron Ferrier and Catherine Love, married Charles Grindley, Rutherglen, 1946 and died 2/3/1992.

Dunbartonshire / John Stirling born Dunbartonshire

Can anyone help me find more on his first wife and children?  I have tried without success and am hoping fresh eyes can find some more information.

John Stirling was born 11/12/1876 Scott's Land, Littlemill, Old Kilpatrick,  parents Thomas Stirling and Margaret Good.  His first wife was a widow, Margaret Cameron nee Campbell and is on 1881 census but not on the 1991.  There are two daughters, Catherine Cameron born about 1871 and Mary Cameron born about 1873.

Technical Help / Help please with printer connection.

I and my husband have tried without success to get my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 to print from HP Envy Series 5530 series.  He has a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 which does.  There must be some way to make it work  which is beyond me.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Australia / Hugh John James £10 passage to Australia

Help please to find when Hugh John James, dob 23/9/1918, went to Australia on the £10 passage with his wife Margaret and I think two children.

I thought I had found them on the Orient leaving 15 August 1954 but no.  They didn't travel First Class and wrong initials for man.
