the above named was last to be living at 9 bryn terrace Pontypool in 1911 and again in 1918 (Edward grimes his son died in the france and his head stone said the address).

question is when did Thomas die ?? 1928   his wife was a rose ellen (nee davis) grimes married in 1889 wootton under edge

just wondering if you could help with this little issue.

we now the marriage certificate for the above named.  stating William Hammond 18 father Samuel Hammond Mayfield sussex.  spouse Elizabeth 20 father Edward gorringe.

question - cannot find the mother and the date of birth. of the above.

if you can look up samuels details it would be very greatfull

I am looking for the death of the above people  they used to live in wootton under edge Gloucester, the only one I have found is Thomas grimes 1955   but I am not sure.  can anyone either confirm or fine another date and whereabouts they were buried.  thank you

Hello helpers,

The below message is from a cousin who has not got a computer,  so has asked me to try and find out her enquiry.

Edgar Macruary was my dad born 27th August 1930. His parents were Norman MacRuary and Annie MacKenzie, Norman was born at Nigg Ross Shire in 1900 and died in Muir-of-Ord 1971 his parents were Norman MacRury (note different spelling) born and Flora Urquhart. Norman was born in Benbecula in 1863 and died at Muir-of-Tarradale in1941 his parents are noted on his marriage certificate as Norman Macrory (note different spelling again) and Euphemia McDonald. I   I can't find any record of his burial or any records concerning his parents but will try and search for any records of a will. I believe he was originally from North Uist.

Any help in this would be very much apprecated.  i have tried the r and c gravestones of which i have seen norman and annie mackenzie  BUT no mention of the others.

Hello to anyone,

Just wondering if there is anyone who is working a name study of the family HOLM.

I know from takling to someone there was a person called Tom Holm the Black Isle who was just doing this subject.

as i can not find him is there anyone who is working on this name study.

the reason being i have a load of information for them.

Hello,

I now tracking down Agnes's parents which i believe to be a jame park and grace ?  the above where married in hamilton in 1908 and Agnes i think was 25 so that makes her birth around 1883.

I can not find her.  can any one help please?  also if you can the marriage cert for her parents.
