Looking for any information or any advice on tracking down:

Nicholas QUINN. Co Down single; a labourer aged 21 and his brothe William QUINN aged 18, arrived in Dunedin , New Zealand on board 'S.S.Arawa ' on 24 Dec 1884; left Plymouth 8 Nov 1884 PL/DP

They  first went to Australia to a place called Bendigo,  made some money and then moved on to New Zealand where they bought 5000 acres on the South Canterbury Plains at a place called WAIMATE.

Staffordshire Lookup Requests / LEBAN/LABAN in Yoxall 1841
« on: Wednesday 01 March 06 14:30 GMT (UK)  »
Hello,

Is there an 1841 census for Yoxall, Staffordshire, England?  I would like to try and find the family of Elizabeth LABAN.  Elizabeth was born abt. 1816 and may have had a brother James and/or a sister Hanna.  Elizabeth married James EARP in 1843 and moved to Wednesbury but hopefully she is still in Yoxall in 1841.

Many thanks,

Fiona.

Hello,

I am having a few problems sorting this family out :-)

Would someone be able to track down any of the following folks on the 1841 census?  The results may shed some light on who is who.

This is the family on the 1851 Census:

In 1841 Elizabeth will hopefully be with her husband Edward Abbey b. 1796.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Staffordshire Lookup Requests / 1841 lookup - HARVEY - Cranbury/Standon area
« on: Wednesday 08 February 06 23:36 GMT (UK)  »
Hi

Is there anyone that might have access to the 1841 census for Staffs. that could do a lookup for my?

In 1851 the following family was living at The Pleck, Walsall and I would like to track them down in 1841.  My guess looking at birth places for the children is that they may be living in the Cranbury/Standon area.

1851 Census details:
William Harvey
Ann Harvey
Will Harvey
J W Harvey
C Harvey
J Harvey Harvey
M A Harvey
R Henvey Harvey
Ruben Harvey
Sarah Harvey
The Pleck, Walsall, Staffordsire, England.

What I am trying to establish is whether Ruben is a son of William and Ann.

TIA,

Fiona.

Staffordshire Lookup Requests / BRADLEY - 1841- Wednesbury
« on: Tuesday 17 January 06 17:18 GMT (UK)  »
 :)Dear All

I wonder if there is anyone with access to the 1841 census that could help me track down the parents of George BRADLEY in Wednesbury?  I believe that George's father was also named George but I do not know if he was still alive in 1841.

George (Junior) appears on the 1851 Census (Wednesbury  2027 f.317) at Kings Hill Fields, Bilston, Staffordshire, England.

George Bradley 28 Furnace Keeper Wednesbury
Eliza 28 Bilston
George 7 Bilston
Sarah Ann 2   Wednesbury
Benjamin 5 mths   Wednesbury
