London and Middlesex / John Johnson (Johnston)

I Have an Ancestor born in Red lion St Wapping name John Johnston born 10th Sept 1802 baptised 12th Oct 1802 fathers name Magnus a master mariner and mother Henrietta, church address is St John Green Bank Middlesex. the record has been done by London Docklands and East End Baptisms, the Transcription is from Docklands Ancestors. what I cant find is the original document, Findmypast has only a typed transcription, and I need to know if John was born at 7, Red Lion St or number 4 Red Lions St Wapping.

Hi,
Can you help me please with John Dalzell born abt 1818 in Shankhill Belfast, father is Thomas Dalzell mother Elizabeth (Don't know her maiden name) father was a Custom House Officer, In John Dalzells death certificate in Sydney NSW 13th Aug 1886 this was what was stated for his fathers occupation, John was married in NSW but immigrated as a Mariner we think from Ireland, he was 66yrs old and 11months on his death certificate so we guest his age was about 1818 to be born, cannot find anything on John or his father and mother.
Would love to get some information if this is possible please.

Looking for help about the person above. Born 14 September 1876, Grunberg, Prussia (Poland/Germany). Father Hermann KOTSCHOTE-LORKEWITSCH, Mother unknown. He is on the 1911 Uk Census, marries 1914 in London, England - 2 children, interned 1939-1944 or a little longer and dies 1949 in London England. Have been unable to find anything before the 1911 UK census. I have been unable to find 'LORKEWITSCH' at all. Thanks, Louise

Hi,
I have found my husbands ancestor in the Worldwide index 1861 name is
Emanuel Hall
number - 152
Rank - Private
Unit - 1st BTN 12th Foot (East Suffolk) 1st Detachment
Regiment stationed at - Otahuhu New Zealand
National Archives ref - WO12/2983

I have traced him right through to new Zealand and then on to Australia in the 50th Regiment (Queens Own Reg)
Auckland to Sydney 10/6/1867 on the ship "Auckland"
What I don't have is his Army records to be absolutely sure I have the right person.
This Emanuel Hall died in 1913 in Sydney and I have his death record - It looks correct as it states he was born in Suffolk and he was born in 1840 and was a pensioner (Imperial Army) The informant was a friend, so I really need his Army Records to be sure.
My Emanuel was born in Woodbridge Suffolk - 1840

Hi,
I have a very hard one to find for a friend his grandfather was in the first world war but not much information, Valentine Rhodes was born abt Aug 1890 in Bundaberg Qld, cannot find a birth certificate for him, I do have his marriage certificate stating his father was William George Gerald John Rhodes and mother Elizabeth Wallack father was an Engineer, cannot find anything on his parents any where Valentine died in 1945 Marrickville NSW, he was married to Jane Brown nee O'Connell from Ireland.
Can any one help me please in finding Valentines birth certificate.

My ancestor was in the 1st Btn 12th Foot (East Suffolk) 1st detachment, he eventually landed up in Australia in 1866 in the 50th Regiment but what I need is his army records, findmypast only lets me know his regiment and that he went first to Otahuhu New Zealand, National archives ref WO12/2983.
Can any one help me please in finding his army records. Emanuel was born 20/11/ 1839 Woodbridge Suffolk.

Looking for a marriage certificate of George Cooper to Maria Antonia Mercieca abt 1835 Cospicua Malta.
George Cooper had a son Henry born 1836 in Cospicua Malta.

Very hard to find a marriage in Malta online.
Any help would be very appreciated.

Australia / Emanuel Hall

Hi,
I have an Emanuel Hall married in 1869, 1st Feb at the Free Church of England by William Bailey 41, Burton st Sydney, the marriage certificate does not give any details of the parents etc, he married Sarah Ann Crumpton. Is there any other way of finding any more details of this marriage, also I can find no children to this marriage, I have his death certificate in 1914 Sydney but as a friend gave the details it does not state his wife, Emanuel was 74yrs old and died of a Senile Heart?

Any information would be appreciated. Emanuel was in the Imperial Army of the 50th (Queens Own Regiment) that went to Sydney in 1866 from New Zealand, he was in NZ in the Maori War of 1860 attached to the Suffolk Regiment and then transferred to the 50th Regiment in 1866 when he went to Australia. Hope this helps.
