I am interested in the Fittleton Wiltshire 1871 census for John Whatley b 1828 if anyone could help please. John is married to Ann Daniells.

In 1871 I have just become aware  the family were living in Fittleton having moved about a bit in the area. I am interested in the names of the family children and if there is a Clara Julia Whatley b1862  in the census. Clara is my great great grandmother and was born in Chitterne according to her birth certificate. Her son is a John Staples Swain Whatley (not to be confused with the aforementioned John Whatley b1828). John SS Whatley has no recorded father on his birth certificate and it is this illegitimacy that interests me and I am on the hunt for answers especially with such an interesting name!

Hi,
I'm trying to track down the birth records of an Emma Green Beaumont who was born in 1850 in Glossop Derbyshire.

I have been trying to find out her parents identity for a long time. She eventually got married  in 1874 to a Charles Walkden(b1852 also my gt, gt, grandfather ) in Huddersfield Wesleyan church Buxton road.
Emma  "might" be the  daughter of a John Beaumont and Martha(?) however this is not a certainty.i have been told the following info by a Beaumont archivist -John and Martha were living in Wooldale in 1841,this is in a census. John and Martha had six daughters Esther Jane(bHolmfirth1844),Mary,Ann,Martha,Ellen(bHolmfirth1838) and Sarah and two brothers John and James.

Emma and Charles called their first daughter Gertrude Mary, I think this might be because her mother might actually be Mary Beaumont-this theory is also a possibility because the 1881 census lists two of the above as aunts and  living with Emma and Charles -Ellen Beaumont and Esther Jane Beaumont. If for example Mary had married a Green it would explain why Emma is being identified as a niece to Esther Jane ,Ann and Ellen in the 71c and 81c.Maybe it was Mary who went to Glossop and not John and Martha. The whole thing is one great big puzzle but if i could find out Emma's birth details it would hopefully sort it out! Could you please help?

I am interested in a Mary Webster, she's registered in the 1881 census as living with  George E Holdsworth at Cliffe end ,longwood ,Yorkshire.
Mary is aged 76<b Whitley 1805> and is recorded as a farmers widow and her relationship to head of the family (George b longwood )is noted as grandmother.
Mary's son is William Holdsworth <b. Lepton may 1st 1826>William was married to a Charlotte Crowther. I am trying to establish if Mary was William or Charlotte's mother , any information would be useful. Thanks.
