« on: Saturday 13 August 05 10:52 BST (UK)  »
Looking for Joseph Modlin/g in 1861 census, possibly in Scotland, he is a stone mason, wife Ann or Mary Ann bn 1821 Well/ Snape NRY, children Thomas or James bn 1842 Bradford WRY, Maryanna bn 1844 Bradford WRY, Isabella bn 1848 Bradford WRY, & Charles William bn 1859 Bradford WRY, also father in law John Dobby a groom, bn 1792 Thornton Watlass NRY. I have his wife & family on all other census 1841 -1901 but Joseph was always absent from home, Joseph is believed to have died about 1872 but no death has been found, his father was Robert also a stone mason, he was alive in 1838 when he registered the death of a son Robert, but have not found him on any census or his death. Due to not finding him on a census I do not know his date or place of birth.
