Hi to any one who could help me with getting information about the parents of my 4x great grandparents. James Adam, born in 1803 in Durris and his wife Margaret Adam(born Adam 1803)
James's parents are Alexander Adam and Elspet Glennie, Margaret's parents are Charles and Jane/Jean Short. I have found some research to suggest Alexander and Charles may be brothers? with parents being James Adam and Anne Hogg, this Adam family are from Banchory-Ternan

Perthshire / Christina Brough

Christina was born in 1848 in Albernethy,Perthshire. She married Robert Dewar and had 3 daughters. One daughter Jean Robertson Dewar was my Great Grandmother.I believe Christina was only 30 when she died but I don't know how she passed away. I'm hoping someone can help me with this.

Robert Dewar was my great great Grandfather,he was born in 1846 in Markinch,Fifeshire.  I have information to suggest his middle name was Law. This could be fesible as his Grandmothers maiden name was Law. I'm interested to know if anyone can help me confirm this.

Jean Robertson Dewar was born in Perth Scotland,her parents were Robert Dewar and Christine Brough, these are the names on her death certificate. I believe she was born in 1874 or 75 but don't know the day or month. From AA and I'm a beginner to rootschat.
