Durham / Help please 1921 Which School in Jarrow
« on: Friday 22 July 22 22:01 BST (UK)  »
Hello, I have two ancestors, Mary Larkin aged 12 and her brother James aged 14.
Living in Newmarch Street, Jarrow.

The family were Catholic

anyone have an idea which school they would of attended in 1921.

These two are proving really difficult to research. I just wondered if I could gain any information from School records.

Thank you for any help.

Ancestral Family Tree DNA Testing / Ancestry DNA Help in understanding results
« on: Wednesday 02 February 22 15:46 GMT (UK)  »
My husband has just received his Ancestry DNA results.

Showing 58% Northwestern Europe
England
Scotland
Sweden and Denmark
Ireland
Norway

He has been researching his family tree, managing to get back to the 1700’s. His family on his fathers side originated from Prague in the Czech Republic.

I would of thought this would of been shown on his DNA result.

Any ideas please?

Renfrewshire / Help please in finding Cemetery where family are buried
« on: Tuesday 20 April 21 15:33 BST (UK)  »
Hello I was wondering where I could find out where my Brown family are buried.

Father John Brown b.1811 died 19 May 1873
Wife.   Rose Ann    b.1822 died  1891
Ann Brown child.    b.1849 died 1853
William.     “.          b.1855 died 1857

Their address at the times of their deaths
2 Wood Lane, Renfrew, Port Glasgow.

I would presume there would be no headstone as they were quite a poor family.
Thank you for any help

Lancashire Lookup Requests / Ridgemont Cemetery, Horwich - help please
« on: Thursday 14 May 15 18:27 BST (UK)  »
I have received through the internet, a copy of part of a map for Ridgemont Cemetery Horwich, from Bolton Council via Deceased On-line

I have the Grave No. of the plot which is  CAT-2-1/P/23
The grave is for a Great Uncle and his wife Patrick O'Neill buried 9th November 1977.

The information given does not mention if there is a headstone.

I wondered if there is anyone familiar with this cemetery and they could look up maybe in the Register at the Cemetery for me please to find out if there is a headstone.

kindest regards and thanks
malshie
