Can anyone help find Hannah Butterfield, born Dec 1820 Bradford (prob Heaton Royds) to Thomas Butterfield & Sarah Wood, bap 1822 non conformist. Married 30/6/1844 to Thomas Hird Bradford Cathedral. She is on the 1841 & 1851 census. They had 1 child Walton Hird 1845-1848. She also was baptised again as an adult C0fE 1/1/1854. Then she vanishes as does Thomas.
Can anyone cast an eye & see if they can find her?

The Common Room / looking for Henry G Savory 1916
« on: Sunday 01 November 20 02:02 GMT (UK)  »
Hi, can anyone help me find Henry G Savory born York 1916 to Eva Crosby. His biological father was more than likely Frederick Gilbert hence the G in his surname. I can see him on the 1939 register as Harry living with Eva & Frederick he's going by Gilbert then & his DOB is 16/11/1916. I can't see him after that.

Also if by any chance anyone can decipher the last Gilbert on the 1939 register i would be very grateful.
Thanks  :)

The Common Room / Thomas Howarth death
« on: Wednesday 20 May 20 18:15 BST (UK)  »
Hello, can anyone help me find the death for Thomas Howarth?
He was born in 1854 Sowerby Bridge West Yorks. He married Mary Hannah Saltonstall & they had no children. I have a document relating to who gets what from his will, his wife's nieces & nephews.Elisha, Milton, Sara & Clara I don't think it's official but its typed & the wording seems official,  but i'm confused as some of the dates are in the 1950's & gives details like the girls being married & or dead.. His wife died 1911.
There is a death for a Thomas Howarth in Halifax 1921 with a will to Mary Hannah but she died 11 yrs before? So this could be a different couple.

i could not upload the jpeg pic as it exceeded 500kb

The Common Room / looking for Yerrill's of Risbridge Suffolk
« on: Monday 30 December 19 21:53 GMT (UK)  »
Hello, i have very few details but i'm trying to find the mother of Arthur Yerrill b 1918 Risbridge, Suffolk. I think ( pure guess) going by the BDM registers that he is one of several illegitimate children. The others are Frederick Yerill b 1911, Jack King Yerrill b 1915 & Cyril King Yerrill b 1916. The MMN for all of them is Yerrill & they were all born in Risbridge.
sorry it's not a lot to go in.  ???

Hi, could anyone help unravel a family for me?
I am trying to find the parents of Letitia Whitfield b 1886 married William Wylie Pagdin in Leeds 29/8/1904. I can ascertain that her parents are John Whitfield & Sophie Davis sounds simple...
 i have found
John Whitfield 29 Married Letitia Whitfield 32 (1854) widower 17/11/1886 in sculcoates, John's father is listed as Silas Whitfield deceased ( can't find a record of him) & Letitia's father is Edward Davis a deceased slater.
&
Letitia Sophie Davis b 1849 Married John Whitfield 6/8/1868 St Johns Workington Cockermouth letitia's father was Edward Davis & Johns was John Whitfield.

one letitia was born in Wales one in Yorkshire...
Letitia & William Pagdin had a witness at their wedding Bessie Whitfield, which would suggest the Wales Letitia??

Please can anyone help unravel this with me? Thank you.

Hello can anyone help?

I'm trying to trace back from the Marriage of Hannah Rigg & Robert Aitchison Carruthers whom were wed on March 13th 1848
image here https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interactive/2197/48045_302022005601_1119-00231?pid=93188187&backurl=https://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bin/sse.dll?indiv%3D1%26dbid%3D2197%26h%3D93188187%26tid%3D111925486%26pid%3D120094045492%26usePUB%3Dtrue%26_phsrc%3DfQd6301%26_phstart%3DsuccessSource&treeid=111925486&personid=120094045492&hintid=&usePUB=true&_phsrc=fQd6301&_phstart=successSource&usePUBJs=true

My calculations are that she was 13 when she wed! I can't read where here residence is, hoping it will help me find her in 1841.  Thanks
