I am trying to find a marriage record and last name for my ancestor's first wife, Dorothea, who accompanied him during the Peninsular war until returning to Ireland in 1813.
Marlborough Parsons Berry was paymaster to the 3rd Regiment of Foot throughout most of the Napoleonic Wars and later held the post of Barrackmaster at Tullamore. Dorothea died on 9 Nov. 1825 and is buried at the family churchyard at Eglish Castle. in 1827 M.P. Berry remarried to Martha Turpin.
