Lancashire / WM ROBINSON searching names Preston, Skinner, Close

Hello All,

Looking to make contact with a "Wm Robinson" who is currently searching the names Preston, Skinner, Close.....He has a site on "my Heritage" one of the sites I do not subscribe to? If anyone is familiar with this fellow, or Has a My Heritage site....could you ask him to contact me by private message of this site? As I have extensive information on the Close family.

Seeking information on the family of Malcom Thompson who married Eliza Anderson 2Jul1894 at All Saints Church of Ireland Clooney. Had the following children William James, Isabella Mary (Bella), Rachel, Robert, Sarah, Annie (could be more). In January 1928 they resided at 48 Brighton Terrace. Any insight would be most welcome....

Derry (Londonderry) / Kane- Limavady area

Tracing the family of "John Kane and Rachel Thompson" they were married 6 Apr 1896 Christ Church Drumchose. John is the son of John Kane, Rachel daughter of Robert Thompson. They had 8 children 5 of whom died in infancy. The surviving children are Margaret Kane b. 13 Dec 1900 (Enogh), William 19 Sep 1903 (Enogh), Mary Jane b. 24 Aug 1908 (Enogh). The family resided in Protestant Street, BallyClose Street and Enogh between 1896 and 1911. I'm hoping that taking a look at this side branch to my main tree may help me uncover information on my Thompson family. Any insight would be fabulous.

Hi there...

Looking for information on the family of Lancelot Gardnier/Gardner b. 19 Mar 1873 in Belfast. Went to Scotland from Belfast with his parents George Gardnier/Gardner and Agnes Headley/Hedley. Married twice, Elizabeth Boyd 1900 and Jane Stewart 1910. Died 24 Nov 1930....believe had children Mary Gardner/gardnier b. 1903 and David S. b. 27 Oct

.....Have located his name in a "Close" family birthday book from Belfast and am trying to ascertain the connection to our family .. any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Seeking information on the family of William Maxwell who married Annie Close 15 Jan 1926 in Belfast....believe they may have moved to England? Had three daughters that I am aware of Annie, Dorothy and Susan. Any insight or information would be wonderful.

Annie was the daughter of Robert Henry Close and Annie Agnes Boyd, b. 22 Jul 1904, Belfast Northern Ireland, William was the son of George Maxwell, and was 34 yrs old at the time of his marriage.

Hi there...

Looking for information on the family of John Kane and Rachel Thompson, lived in Protestant street, Limavady per the 1911 census. Appears they married about 1899 according to the Census entry, as well had the following children Margaret circa 1901, William circa 1904, and Mary J. circa 1909...Rachel was the daughter of Robert Thompson and Rachel Livingston aka Levingston...any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all...

Have been back to working on my "mysterious McPherson's"....have a death from 1910.....entry advises:

John Duncan McPherson died 19 Feb 1910 @ 414 Eramosa Road, guelph, age 2yrs, 3mos, 7days. Funeral at Tovell Funeral Home 21 Feb 1910, Burial Union Cemetery

Can anyone advise the location of "Union Cemetery"

I have had no luck finding it so far....parents were John Duncan McPherson and Minnie Hennion....John Duncan McPherson was affiliated with Esquesing Township Lot 10, Con 5 in 1903.

any insight as to the location would be sincerely appreciated...
