Edwin is my uncle I found him on the 1911 census ,hes aged 6 so working on age I would have thought he got married in and around the 1930 mark but cannot find him . I did find an Edwin Newman who got killed in the last war but im unsure if thats him , it says he was a driver in the R.A.S.C ,AGE UNKNOWN KILLED IN FRANCE 1944. I have been in touch with some folk in the channel islands and cannot find a record of him there .  Ive shook my family tree that much in the hope he would drop out but all I have is dead wood .   Please help .   signalman
