Technical Help / free security ?
« on: Sunday 18 June 17 18:49 BST (UK)  »
Hi all, I was wondering about putting a free security on PC, and if anyone has which one would you recommend.  I did have Macafee when I bought this new PC, but that ran out. today. What are the risks in using a free one. I am not using PC very much now but like to keep in touch with my favourites , which this site is one.  Any tips appreciated, thanks Dolly

Technical Help / New PC
« on: Sunday 02 October 16 18:54 BST (UK)  »
Please can someone enlighten me on the following problem.
Each time I try to start my new all in one PC.. (which is quite beyond me I think)
     This message keeps coming up...

"The script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the
script now, , open script in the debugger, or let it continue",...  but no matter which one i do , it keeps coming up each time I try to start something..then the screen goes cloudy and stops everything..   Thanks Dolly  (Managed to get this site long enough to write the message)

Northumberland / Blyth Library
« on: Thursday 28 April 16 22:52 BST (UK)  »
In todays paper it reported that a  Joyce Wakenshaw has kindly left £30,250 to the Blyth Library , She spent a lot of time in the Library,   and then became Head of a United Nations school in Geneva.
This lovely gesture is being used to have a state of the art family history suite created within the library..    This is great news as the library's equipment is now quite dated, and I hope it wont be long before this happens .. Dolly
