Flintshire / William Jones / Bagillt

Hi - I'm looking for any evidence that might confirm handed down family anecdotes that my ggg grandfather William (possibly then known as Llewellyn) Jones was born in Bagillt, Flintshire, somewhere around 1905/1906.
The earliest information I have is the 1841 census which shows William, aged 35 working as a miner and living in Darlaston, Staffordshire though not born in Staffs. His family consisted of wife Elizabeth (b. circa 1804, Coseley, Staffs) and sons Llewellyn (b. 1834, Liverpool) and Richard (b. 1841, Darlaston, Staffs). William died before the 1851 census by when both sons had become miners.
Any help would be appreciated - I accept that the surname might not make this the easiest of challenges.
