I currently use Rootsmagic 4, and have never seen the need to upgrade to 5 or 6. I'm a bit tempted by 7 though, partly because of the ability to create a website. Is anyone using version 7, and do the web pages look reasonable?

Does anyone live in Penistone? I believe Penistone library has a booklet of St John the Baptist Monumental Inscriptions, part of the Dransfield Collection.

I think there is at least one gravestone with reference to the Bilcliffe/Bintcliffe (any spelling) family, and would be very grateful for a look up.

Can anyone read this please? The name of the child is Willm Bilcliffe but I'm lost with the rest! I think the family were catholic recusants, may or may not be relevant.

Thanks!

One Name Studies: A to G / Bilcliffe and variants
« on: Monday 26 August 13 20:03 BST (UK)  »
I thought I'd already posted this, but can't find it!

Researching the Bilcliffe family mainly in England at the moment, but overseas when particular families take me there.

I have a database of about 6000 records, with many parish register entries matched with the corresponding GRO references.

I am also studying present day forms of the original version of the name, including:

Bilcliff, Billcliff, Billcliffe, Biltcliff, Biltcliffe, Bincliffe, Bintcliffe

If any of these names are of interest to you do please get in touch. We may be able to help each other!

My study is registered with the Guild of One Name Studies, and you can see my profile page here

Looking forward to hearing from you!

I haven't seen this before, apologies if it's already listed. It's just an index, copies of the full announcements can be obtained for "a small charge".
