Hi , Looking for my g/grandparents on shipping lists from Ireland.
They were  William Maher born 1834 Kilkenny Ireland and maiden name Mary Ann Tierney born 1837 Carlow
.They were married in Geelong  Vic .1856.
Not sure if they came with their parents or not.William,s parents were Michael and Eliza Maher
and Mary Anne,s were James and  Eliza Tierney Awaiting any reply wegsgirl

Hi  .Looking for my g/g/grandparents marriage certificate about early 1800,s in Ireland Could be Kilkenny?
Their names were Michael Maher and Eliza Doyle
Not much to go on except that my g/grandfather  William Maher was born 1834 Kilkenny. Ireland and married Mary Ann Tierney[born 1837 Carlow .They were married in Geelong Australia.
1856.
I am very vague but nothing else to go on

Hi all.Hope for some help.
My g/gfather one William Smith born approx 1817 in Sporle with Palgrave near the town Swaffham County Norfolk(from his discharge papers from the army).I know something about this man but hope to find out his parents and siblings as I know by one census a child Edith described as nieceso must have brothers or sisters.

Hi to all,
MY late G.G.Father  was in the 1st battalion,1st regiment of Foot Royal Scots.
He enlisted in 28thJanuary 1839
. His name was Colour Sergent Willaim Smith Number 1801
Question.  Could any one give me the details that are shown on his or any  enlistments papers back in 1839.  eg. Parents names or and religon.If this is possible
As it costs 20 pounds to order any information from the Royal Scots  I would like to have some idea what I may pay for.Awaiting your replies wegsgirl

Hi,I am trying to find my great uncle,s birth.
My grand parents were William Smith born 1817 Swaffham Norfolk.[The Royal Scots Guards] and Anne Smith [Maloney from Ennis] ].They were married in Clare in about 1850 when g/grandfather was stationed in Ireland.
Joseph was born about 1857 by working back from1861 census .Not much to go on but thought it worth a try.wegsgirl

Hi I,m looking for an auntie Sophia Smith
Born March 1858 Colchester. Essex
I found her living at different places with her sister Margaret, and father who ,s name is wait for it William Smith. on different census up until 1891 then the brick wall
William   born  about 1817 in Swaffham Norfolk married Anne Maloney in Clare Ireland .
Back to Sophia I would like to know if she married ? and when she died ?
