Kent / All Souls, Cheriton Street - Marriage look up

I am looking for confirmation of a marriage and wondered if someone could check the parish records for me, please?

Marriage between Herbert Emery Smith & Priscilla L W Dew took place somewhere between July - Sept 1916. (Free BMD Sept 1916 Elham). I believe that they may have been married at All Souls Church, Cheriton Street, Folkstone.

Alice Gertrude Priday b: 1879 Hempsted, Gloucester

M: 1897 - Hempsted, Gloucester to John Tremble Fildes b: 1878 Ulverston, Lancs d: 1960 Gloucester

Travels to Australia sometime after 1924 and I believe that she may have stayed.

I would be grateful if some kind person could help with providing info of Alice in Australia.

Census and Resource Discussion / Census search on Ancestry

It's been a while since I did a census search by Registration no. Piece/folio and page on Ancestry. However, I've just had a look and it appears that you can no longer do this kind of search is this right or am I missing something

Hi

I am looking for information on Herbert Emery/Emory Smith b1894, His wife Priscilla b1899 in England and their family.

Birth records show he was born Emory Herbert Smith 5th July 1894, His farther was Henry William and his mother was Annie Elizabeth.

Priscilla was born Lilian Winifred May Hamblin b: 1899 Maisemore, Gloucestershire England
(Married name of Dew) Father Walter Henry Hamblin known as Henry and mother Kate

Married Herbert in 1916 in England

Any info would be greatly appreciated particularly about his wife and children.

Technical Help / Laptop not loading on start up

I hope that someone may be able to help.

When my laptop goes into sleep mode I am finding it very difficult to get it to spring into life. I am increasingly having to switch it off (which doesn't always work) and/or take out the battery to get it come back on. I need to do this several times before it will open. The screen normally goes black and you can see that it is trying to do something.

Is the laptop on its way out - I've tried earlier to do a repair which failed.

I wonder if someone could help with a marriage for Frederick Albert Stephens.
From a hint on Ancestery it shows a marriage in Thunder Bay Onatrio to Lily Rebecca Shapcott.

Unfortunately I do not have a world wide sub so unable to confirm if this is the same Ferderick Albert Stephens in my tree.
