Europe / Dutch Army record after WW2

I am trying to find out what the Army record for Albert Wijnveld in the years 1946,1947. He was conscripted at Alkmaar where he served for 2 or 3 years at various posts around Holland. He emigrated to New Zealand in 1952. I am also interested in if there is any information listed about him as being one of the Dutch forced labourers at various German work camps. In particular about the types of punishments employed when escapees were recaptured. I have some stories that he has told me about his treatment and I cannot find anything to describe what a hole in the ground as punishment was. I know it must have been pretty bad as he ended up with pleurisy and nearly died. This is a genuine enquiry from a daughter trying to piece together her father's life pre emigrating. I hold no hate or blame for Germans, I would just like some honest answers, no judgement from me will come.
