The Common Room / Adoption.....
« on: Wednesday 19 August 09 10:38 BST (UK)  »
I have noticed on one of my family that was adopted that the ref number has been amended on the official register. This occurs on a  few other entries........I have been researching another member who we believe to have been adopted but there is no amended ref number on her entry.........was she then not officially adopted?
Can anyone help please ?

I would appreciate any help with the following.......

Fanny Bedson...born  c 1835

I have her marriage cert to Matthew Titley 1858 at Sneyd Staffs...giving her father's name as Edward Bedson a labourer.

On 1871 census in Staffs she gave her place of birth as Nantwich

On the 1881 she gave  her place of birth as Widdenbury ?...Wybunbury

Their daughter Maria Titley was born in Ashley

The Titley 'family' were all from Ashley

Where was Fanny Bedson prior to her marriage ?
