I can't figure out the last name for the witness  Margaret.

Mary Dempsey Sullivan  born abt. 1842 Ireland, died  Aug. 10,1872  Cambridge, Mass.

Husband  John, Children  Mary   bap. 1867, Hanora Bap. 1866, Catherine  Bap. 1870

I am looking for a death notice in a newspaper for the death of Mary.

Any help would be appreciated.

Canada Lookup Request / Need help in trying to find a marriage

Trying to find a marriage  for  JAMES  MURPHY

He was born  in England to James & Margaret Murphy on Oct. 15,1910 in England. Came to Canada as a home child in  1924.

The last place that I have found him living was on the 1931 census in Osgoode, Russell. Ontario as a laborer   with the Shields family. Since he is Roman Catholic I have looked in their records.  Don't know if  he stayed in that area after 1931  or not.
Any help would much appreciated.

I have info. about William Kerswill/Kerswell  who died    Feb. 18,1870  either in St. Thomas or Exeter.

There is suppose to be an obituary for him in the Western Times  Feb 25,1870 on page 8 & in the Exerter & Plymouth Gazette page 5

I was hoping that someone might be able to look this up for me.

Cornwall Lookup Requests / st. columb & newquay parish records

On the OPC clerk under baptisms for 1858 under the name Pollard, Father Michael it just says from the Royal Cornwall Gazette  Dec. 3, 1858  birth of a son.  born Nov. 30,1858. No name was mentioned.
The Mother Elizabeth Ann Pollard  died  Dec. 2,1858  & the Father Michael died in 1859.
I am trying to find a name for the son & any info. on him.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Canada Lookup Request / Looking for James Murphy

I am looking for James Murphy  born Oct. 15,1910 England &  came to Canada as a Home Child in 1924,   His parents were James & Margaret Murphy.

When James arrived in Canada he went to  Mr   Viatique  Legault in St. Genivieve , Jacques Cartier, Quebec.  Then went to John Birt, Manotick, station,  Carleton, Ont. & then to  James Finley , Billings Bridge Carleton,  until 1928.   Don't know if he stayed in that area or moved on. 

Any help or information would be much appreciated.

Michael  Murphy  was sent to Canada in 1927 as a home child  at age 14 from the Catholic emigration  party

On the Canada Arriving passenger list under birth , being born London  there is a number  314599

Would this be his birth cert. number.   & how would I go about finding out.
I thought he was born in Holborn,

Any advice would be much appreciated.

US Lookup Requests / Looking for Margaret Pearl Stallard, died Grass Valley Nevada Cal. 1992

Looking for info. for Margaret Pearl Stallard,  An obit  or  cem. or death cert.

As it says on the death index is that the exact place where she died.  I think the exact date of death should be Mar. 1, but am not sure.

Who can get a death cert & how to do  you go about it.

Any help would be much appreciated as I am in Canada .
