Does anyone know about this family:

William Simpson married Lily Beels 1920 at Grimsby they had a son Kenneth W. Simpson 1921 at Grimsby.

My husband's mother remembers visiting a relative at Grimsby when she was young.

I am trying to prove that Henry McKenzie bapt 26 Sep 1762 at Billingham, Durham the son of Henry is 'my' Henry who ended up in Carlisle, Cumberland.

All the McKenzies on my direct family tree are called Henry!

I know that Henry bapt 1762 died in Carlisle but where did his father Henry die?

Would the parish records show what the father's occupation was?

I am looking for the death of James CHARLES who was born in Elgin, Moray and also his marriage to Jean / Jane MARSHALL (born 1727)

His wife and daughters: Barbara & Susan move to Carlisle, Cumberland where Jean/Jane dies on 29 Oct 1818.

Why did they move down to England?

I have been trying to find Albert Charles Evan's birth in Lambeth for 20 years now!

From the Free BMD there are 4 Albert Charles Evans born about 1867/9 but non in Lambeth.

On his army papers it states that his father is J. Evans from Lambeth and on his marriage certificate dated 1893 it states that his father was James Evans, labourer and Albert is aged 26. He signed his marriage certificate.

On the 1911 census he says he was born in Lambeth. His age is now 40!

He died 1932 aged 61.

The only thing that my mother knows is that her aunt told her that he had two sisters who were governesses - she didn't know any names.......

Albert is my mother's grandfather - my mum is 84 and I would love to find him for her.

I wondered if someone would be able to look this entry up for me please to see if there is any more information e.g. mother's name or father's occupation.

I know that my Henry McKenzie was born 1762 and died in Carlisle - there are not many Henry McKenzies so this one at Billingham is a good possibility.

If this is my Henry I am hoping that it will lead me back to his roots in Scotland.
