The Common Room / Help to Decipher Birth Certificate

I've received a copy of Elizabeth Hoadley's birth certificate and I believe she was the younger sister of my 2 x great grandmother Sarah Hoadley. I really hoped that by finding the maiden name of her mother it would open up some new research. Unfortunately I can not read it. I would be grateful if there is anyone out there who could give it a go and come up with some ideas. Thanks.

Hi there, Does anyone know what a "Rod Man" did? I have found it on an old census as a profession and believe it was probably a Romany profession and just wondered if any of you might be able to help me on this. Thanks.

Berkshire Lookup Requests / Thatcham Baptism

If anyone has access to Thatcham parish baptisms I would be grateful if they could check to see if either Trinity Hicks is mentioned in the baptisms for 1824 along with any other information. Alternatively, an IGI record refers to a baptism of a Traynel Proudley on 15 August 1824. If you could check the details of that entry and provide me with any information that might be written on the record.

I have an IGI record which states that Thomas Isaacs married Jane Mills on 29th December 1817 in Reading, St Mary. I would be very grateful if somebody could look up the parish record and see if there are any further details that might help my research.

Travelling People / Isaacs Family Wincanton

Hi there,

Does anybody out there have any information regarding the Isaacs Family who travelled around Somerset and Dorset eventually settling in Wincanton. James Isaacs married Trinity Hicks in 1844 and they had approximately 15 children. I am the descendant of Annie (Analetta) Isaacs who married Albert Camfield. Lousie Isaacs married Job Camfield and Deliah Isaacs married John Fry of Cucklington and Alice married Mark Fry and Mary Ann married Henry Hicks. I would love to get in contact with any other Isaacs descendants. I understand that Henry Hicks went to Canada and has descendants there. I would also like to know if anyone has any information as to where James Isaacs came from originally. Also any information regarding the Hicks travelling family would be gratefully received.
