« on: Saturday 11 April 09 14:36 BST (UK)  »
Hi, I will be visiting Liverpool, West Derby on May 9th and 10th to try to locate the gravesites of my ancestors.  During 1871 through 1901 Census they were living at 325 Westminster Road Parish St Mary's.  I have the following information, but was wondering if it would be possible to find out which cemetery(s) they would be buried in as my time is limited to finding out at the registry office on May 9th (May 10th is a Saturday)  Here is the information that I have (thanks so much for your help):

Would you be kind enough to see if you can restore these photos of my parents.  It's the only copy I have and they seem to be pixilated and fuzzy through the original blowup that was done years ago. Thank you so very much.

Anglesey / Emma Jones
« on: Tuesday 12 February 08 11:52 GMT (UK)  »
Emma Jones was born in Llanfair Mathafarn Eithaf c1841 according to 1851 and 1861 Census.  She is living with her father Owen (quite elderly) and her Aunt Marry (fathers sister).  At one point I was even wondering if this was actually a grandfather taking on a fatherly role, as he is 64 in 1851 census living with his sister, a *son* 12 and another daughter had just left home, Anne 16. Both Anne (my gg grandmother) and Owen were shown in 1841 Census ages 5 and 2, Owen father 50 and Aunt Marry 62.  I am assuming Emma's mother died in childbirth as she is not listed in any census.  They are living at the same address Pentre Garrog Bach all throughout the census takings. My question is this, if the mother died in childbirth, would the Emma not be listed in the 1841 census? and if she wasn't born yet, then where is the mother. I have each of the census for 1841 through to 1901 and the family remains in the same house, one form or another.
Through internet searching, I have discovered that Emma Jones from Pentre Garrog Bach, Llanfair M.E. married Richard Thomas Born at Adwy Goch, Llanfair ME 1840 but can't find any verification of the marriage either. Any information to clarify this would be greatly appreciated, as I have looked everywhere for information and can't come up with anything.  I would greatly appreciate any information that you can give me. Thank you.

Wales / Marriage lookup request
« on: Friday 08 February 08 12:08 GMT (UK)  »
I have located several possibilities for the marriage of Edward Williams and Ann Jones.  Both Edward Williams b. c1835 Amlwch and Ann Jones b.c1835 Llanfair Mathafarn Eithaf were born in Wales (birth years calculated from Census'), but I found them living in Liverpool from 1851 onwards.  I don't know if they were wed in Wales or in England.  I did a search on the marriage possiblities, and there are quite a few to choose from, so I am not sure which direction to go or which certificate to order. If anyone is going to the records office and could possibly inquire for me, that would be wonderful. Here is the list I retrieved from freebmd
I did the search from 1857 to 1860 as their first child Owen was born in Liverpool 1859. The Lancashire board is closed at the moment for organization, I will post there also if needed when it is up and running again.
Thank you so much,
June-Anne

The Common Room / Records Egypt
« on: Saturday 29 December 07 22:40 GMT (UK)  »
I am looking for records out of Egypt.  My grandfather George Henry Pearce was there as the Chief Inspector for the Railway with his first family in early 1900's.  His first wife Hester Amelia Jones b.Nov 28 1884 Rogerstone, Mon died in Egypt abt 1921 - a daughter Millicent Mary b.Feb 23 1907,Newport Wales died Egypt abt 1912, son Reginald Oboe Pearce b. Oct 21 1908 Tantah, Egypt d.1910/1911 Egypt.  I would love to find out why they died and the dates, is there any way of getting this infromation?  I have checked with the UK records, but can't seem to find anything.  I am thinking there was most likely transcription/language errors.  I have tried googling to find information, but am no further as to where to check for the information.  Thanks in advance.
