Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Pte Milton Miller - Welsh Regiment - died 9/6/1920  (Nephritis. Uraemia) - Redg No 46288 -  buried St Andrews Major (St Andrew) Churchyard. burial 12 June 1920  (middle name King)

The Commission are in the process of producing a Special Memorial to commemorate him.  It is not possible to mark his grave.

UK, World War I Pension Ledgers and Index Cards, 1914-1923 shows father as William Miller.

Ordinary Seaman Thomas Mitchell served in the Royal Navy on board H.M.S. "Dido," Service No. J/70155(CH)

Flintshire / Joseph William Wainwright

Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for relatives of Pte Joseph William Wainwright - Royal Welsh Fusiliers - redg no 48939 -  died 14/6/1919 - buried St Mary's The Virgin Church Cemetery, Overton On Dee.  burial on the 17th June 1919 age 25 years.   His address was given as Lightwood Green, Overton.
(Strange some of the dates aren't matching on this one. - There is a grave in this churchyard for Cpl L W Wainwright - 19/6/1919)

Joseph died from wounds & Gas Poisoning.  :'(

The Commission are in the process of producing a headstone to mark his grave.

Joseph William Wainwright was born in the March quarter of 1894, registered in Ellesmere Shropshire (Volume: 6a, Page: 692).   He was the eldest son of Nathan & Eliza Wainwright (nee Peat), who were married in St. Mary’s Church, Overton on the 6th July 1893.  Nathan’s father was James Wainwright, also a Labourer and Eliza’a father was William Peat.
Couple had 4 children bur 2 had died.  Brother James was the survivor.

Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Pte Phyllis Irene Kent -  Auxiliary Territorial Service - Redg No :- W 271469 - died 3/8/1944 - Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital - buried St Matthias Churchyard -  Hanford.

Wife of Norman Thomas Kent. Daughter of William and Florence Penlington nee Lycett.

The private memorial marking the grave of Pte Kent no longer provides adequate commemoration.  The Commission are in the process of producing a headstone to mark the grave.
