Lancashire / Oldham Burials 1939-1992

Checking these records on Family Search but the Burial Records 1939-1992 are not there so how do I find my grandparents' graves? The Grave Registers for those dates are there but I don't know when the grave was purchased. Can anyone help please ?

I used to get emails from Roots Chat Eng Lan (I think) but since the PC crashed I don't so can't ask there

Lancashire / Prestwich Asylum records

Not been on here for quite a while so this may have been answered previously.
An ancestor (Born 11 March 1826 ) was incarcerated in Prestwich Asylum in April 1883 after a stroke (from which she died on  30 Aug  1885  )
I have found the admission entry on Find My Past but would love to read the record of what happened to her in there. I know sometimes too that these places took photos of inmates and I don't have one of her.
Can anyone point me in the right direction ? Her name was Sarah Ann Daltry of Oldham -  Patient No: 5362

Family Bibles / Daltry Family Bible

When I was a teenager (50 years ago) y mother sold he family bible to a man who came to the door. That bible fascinated me even then but can't remember the names and I have often wondered where it could be now.
My GGG Grandfather was a man of some means so it would probably be of his family.
He was Robert Daltry, born 1805, marr. Martha Mather (b. Bonsall Derbyshire 1802) at Prestwich 1825.
Daughter Sarah Ann was b. 1826
Her son Thomas Henry Daltyr was b. 1847
His dau. was Rhoda Bailey.

If anyone has any ideas where to look for the bible, I would be eternally grateful

Lancashire Lookup Requests / Cooper, Sarah/John/ Martha 1851 Census

I have Sarah Cooper on 1861 to 1901 censuses but have tried everything to find her on the 1851 and her parents on the 1841 and 1851

Sarah's birth cert. shows her to have been born in Oldham 29 June 1847 to John and Martha (formerly Hilton) of North Moor Oldham.

They'd been married in Newton Manchester in 1843 but that is all I can find out about John and Martha too.

Where do I go from here?

Lancashire Lookup Requests / 1871 Census - Daltry

I have found this family on all other censuses but this is foxing me.
I've tried Daltry, Dalty, Dalbey, Dalby and others but so far I can't find them on 1871.

Thomas Henry Daltry born 1847
Alice Daltry - wife - born 1847
Married Aug 1870
Born, always lived and died in Oldham Lancs, as far as I can see.

I can also find Alice and their children on 1891 but not Thomas Henry who must not have been at home that night. He lived until 1931 so should be on there somewhere.

I'd love to "complete the set". Can anyone  with more experience help please?

I have a copy of a death certificate that is not the right one for me.

It is re: the death of Robert Buckley of Oldham.
Died aged 49 years.on19th July 1890 at 58 Redgrave Street Oldham
Informant Ellen Broadbent sister in law of 29 Culvert St.

I'm sure there have been other requests like this but I 'm not sure where to look on here.

Do any RootsChatters have suggestions as to where is best to buy acid free paper, charts, files, poly covers etc etc?

Cheshire Lookup Requests / James Bailey- Look up please

I've found James on censuses 1851 to 1881 when he was married to Martha (Matty) Shaw and living in Lees, now in Oldham, but then was under Ashton under Lyne.

On the census he is always shown as born in Stockport, Cheshire about 1821 but I cannot find him on the 1841 census nor his birth or any record, on the IGI.

I found his marriage to Matty on FreeBMD . She was from Lees so he must have been living there at that time.
It was 12 May 1844 at St Michael’s Church, Ashton under Lyne and I have the certificate. On there, where it should have Fathers Name, there is his mother's name - Mary Bailey, so I presume she was unmarried at that time and I cannot go further on that line.

But I would love to find him on 1841 and where he was living at that time. Maybe I could follow Mary tho.

Lancashire Lookup Requests / Robert Daltry Marriage. When?

Not sure where and when to look for this.

Robert Daltry on IGI born 1805 Newton Heath
Married Martha who was born 1802 in Bonsall Derbyshire (got from censuses) and yesterday I got a copy of the christenings for that year in Bonsall . There were 2 Marthas bpt in 1802- one is Martha Bunting and the other looks like Martha Mather.

In 1851 their children were
Sarah Anne  b 1826
Mary      b 1828
James M      b 1831
Elizabeth      b 1832
Samuel      b 1836
Jemima      b  1840
Eliza      b 1844

All born in Oldham

So does it seem reasonable to look for a marriage from 1823 to 1826 ?
Will I have to go though every Manchester Church record for Newton Heath and every Oldham Church too ?

Is there an easier way to find this marriage?
