Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Help with date and age of girl please with Frederick and Amory

Could anyone please help with a date for this photo and particularly an age for the girl. Looking at the girl's dress and the lady's collar I would say 1950s - but please correct me if I'm wrong.

The photo is of Frederick William Dodson (1870-1968) and Amory Dorsett (1889-1973). They married in 1950 (second marriage for both), Fred aged 79 and Amory aged 60. I am trying to work out who the girl may be and her age in this photo could help.

Any help much appreciated.

US Lookup Requests / Frederick Fallows obit/death/burial Brooklyn July 1922 help please

Could anyone please help with an obituary for Frederick/Fred Fallows please. I can see partial transcripts on Ancestry but I don't have access to the newspapers. I have checked the newspapers on FindMyPast but nothing comes up.

Here are the details I can see:
Frederick/Fred Fallows
Obit dates 28 and 29 July 1922 Brooklyn
Residence: Covert Street
Spouse: Agnes Fallows
Death place is transcribed as Quakertown N.J., but I suspect that was where he was buried (his wife was later buried there)

I was wondering if there were any more details, particularly of his burial.

Any help much appreciated.

I would be grateful if anyone could improve this photo of Agnes Burns (my GG Grandmother).

I realise it is a very poor photo and it may be difficult to get much out of it, but it would be nice to see her features more clearly if possible. I have scanned the original at 600dpi to give you as much as I can to work with. If there is anything more I can do with the scan please let me know.

I am a bit confused as the properties at the bottom of the photo say 117kb, however when you click on IrfanView Image Properties is says current memory size 479.29kb

I have spotted a Cabinet Card for sale on Ebay and I would appreciate any opinions on the age of the lady in the photograph. Written on the back of the photograph is Mrs. Dodson March 23rd 1884 and the photographer was Mrs. Williams of Wolverhampton.

I am wondering if this lady may be my OH's GG Grandmother Martha Dodson (nee Kendrick) who was born March Q 1840 and lived in Wolverhampton. I cannot see another Mrs Dodson in Wolverhampton at the time who would fit the photo.

I would be grateful of any opinion or observations on the lady.

World War One / Christmas Spooner - help finding his MIC please

Hi All,

I have searched Ancestry and The National Archives and cannot find the MIC for Christmas Spooner, I have found his service records and I know he survived the war.

Here's what I know.

Christmas Spooner (no middle name) was born on 25th December 1883 Michaelstone-y-Fedw, Monmouthshire, Wales.

He was a Sapper in B Coy 3rd RB Royal Engineers, regimental number 113996. He enlisted on 3rd September 1915 for the duration of the war. He served in Mesopotamia.

He had previously served as a Private in the 1/1st Glamorganshire Yeomanry (22 Feb 1910 - 27 Aug 1915. Regimental No. 1089).

I have searched by christian name only, surname only, regimental number - nothing comes up!
