Census and Resource Discussion / Wrong census entry

I have come across a very frustrating census entry in that one of my ancestors is recordedin every census that he was born in Tivetshall, Norfolk in 1807. Problem is that he wasn't. There is no entry in the parish records for Tivetshall but there is in a nearby village of Starston. Despite all my efforts contacting Ancestry and the like they still show him born in Tivetshall misleading anyone who is researching him as part of their family tree.

Suffolk Lookup Requests / Braiseworth parish records POTTER

The Norfolk records I have seen show a William Potter was born/baptised 22 Sept 1778 in Braiseworth. He moved to Starston, Norfolk around 1801. His parents I believe were William Potter and Elizabeth 
? and I believe he married in 1801 to Sarah ? I do not have access to Suffolk parish records so can anyone help re confirmation of his father & mother or surname of his wife please? I am William Snr's great great great great great grandson.

Norfolk / POTTER Solomon

Hi Guys,
I posted this a while ago and after a lot of research I am no further forward and desperate for help. Fact, Solomon Potter was married to a Phoebe Banham (From Great Ellingham) in 1831 in Winfarthing. They both lived there till they died in 1888 and had a large family which I have traced to the present date and I am a direct descendant. However I cannot find any record of Solomons birth. One member has it as Starston in 1807 with a parish record to match but in every census from 1841 till his death Solomon records his birth place as being Tivitshall and in one he records it as being Tivitshall St Mary. A family tree posted on Ancestry has Solomons father as George Potter born 1790 in Tivitshall but I have not been able to verify this. Parish records of Tivitshall show a lot of Potters but no Solomon. Has anyone else got Solomon in their tree that can help.
Just to confuse things further whilst in Winfarthing a Joshua Potter lived virtually next door. Joshua was born in Tivitshall 1785 and had marriage Banns on the same dates as Solomon but as yet I can find no link between them.

Norfolk / Solomon Potter & Phebe Banham

According to the IGI index Solomon B1807/ 08 married Phebe B1812 in the church of St Mary The Virgin Winfarthing 12th October in 1831 but I am unable to find this recorded in any online parish record.
The issues I am trying to resolve re Solomon are many namely his correct place and date of birth which are either 1808 in Tivitshall according to the Census records but Tivitshall parish records do not support this. Parish records on Freereg have a Solomon born 1807 in Starston showing parents as being William and Sarah.
I am requesting a lookup of the marriage which may resolve his date and place of birth and parents. Likewise Phebe's

Devon / BAILEY Family

I am researching William Bailey who was born sometime Bef. 1740 in Kingsteignton area of Devon. He was married to a Mary Clement who was born on 10 Sept 1727 also in Kingsteignton, Devon. There children were John Joseph, George, Mary and Bettey who were born in Teigngrace, Devon.
I have a good family tree from the onwards to present date however I have been in touch with several Rootschatters re the other half of my family in Norfolk. As a result I have been able to find very old parish registers on line dating back in some cases to the 1500's. Is there any such sites out there covering Devon or has any members any hsitory of the Bailey family dating back further than 1740 that can help.

He was Married to Pheobe (Possibly surname Banham or born in Banham in1812) Children all born in Winfarthing were Matilda 1829, Mary Ann 1835, Robert 1833, Sarah 1835, George 1838, Elizabeth 1844, Sarah A 1847, Emily 1850 and Soloman 1852
George became a shoemaker and for some reason b/w 1851&1861 he and most of the family moved to Durham area and became miners. Soloman Jnr had a large family after marrying in Durham area in 1874
