Anglesey / Penrhoslligwy Baptisms
« on: Friday 30 June 17 12:07 BST (UK)  »
Does anyone know if the baptisms (1766 - 1813) in the parish of Penrhoslligwy have been transcribed anywhere? I am a member in findmypast and and ancestry, but have had problems with records between these dates.

(in case someone can help I'm looking in particular for births / bapt for Anne Morris around 1811 or or William Owen 1810)

and looking for any MI's for Penrhoslligwy that I can search.
diolch

Anglesey Lookup Requests / Anyone going to Anglesey Record Office in the near future?
« on: Saturday 28 November 15 21:52 GMT (UK)  »
There's a letter referring to the church trying to move some of my relatives on from their property and it's in the record office in Llangefni I believe.
Any chance there might be someone who's planning on a visit there that could make a copy and email it to me at all?

These are the details:

To the Clerk of the Peace from R. Pritchard to move to lodge an appeal in the case parish Llanbedrgoch v. parish Pentraeth re Griffith Morgan and family.
Note: Order of removal to be filed on Wednesday, 17 October.

« on: Tuesday 07 January 14 11:51 GMT (UK)  »
I have found the marriage of
Owen Jones & Elinor Roberts 19 Jul 1822 on familysearch.org. However there is no image on findmypast.
I wonder if anyone would be good enough to look this up for me and transcribe any details on this record. I'm interested in any parents names, occupations, and place names (including house name)
diolch o galon

Does anyone know if any catalogue survives from Humphrey photography studio Castle street Carnarvon (his spelling)?  I have a number of photos, and one of them has a catalogue number - I was curious to know whether I could date this photo from any archive paperwork that survived from this business

thanks

We came across this photo of an as yet unknown lady, but it's a very early photographic technique called collodion positive, or ambrotype?  The details on the dress are easily seen, so hopefully someone can help.
I believe this to be taken in Anglesey /North Wales in 1850s-1890s which is when this technique was in use.

Also is she likely to be in mourning here?
