I have a reference to the Irish Police force of 1833/34 policing in the area of New Inn, Tipperary, under the command of Edward Morton Sergeant in the Irish Constabulary. the reference appears in the Conmel Herald where he is mentioned in the investigations of several incidences, where the Police Office at New Inn seems to be the local HQ in 1833/34. Does anyone have access to records of his service to assist me please.

Longford / Fanny Morton, possibly Longford, Carrick, Clonmel areas
« on: Thursday 21 December 23 14:58 GMT (UK)  »
Fanny Morton, born 1823 (ish) Longford, Clonmel, Carric-on-Suir area, sister to Johnston and daughter to Edward. I'm at my wits end trying to find anything about the time in her life before her marriage to John Williams in 1848 in Carrick-on-Suir. I have no idea about finding birth or baptism records for the areas where she may have been born and I know nothing of her mothers name. Her father is recorded on her marriage certificate to John Williams as a Wood Ranger and on her brothers Marriage certificate to Clarinda Gellately of 1848 in Clonmel as a Gate Keeper. If anyone has any ideas to help me I would appreciate any assistance to locate her birth baptism or her parents wherabouts. Thanks
