Antrim / Co Antrim, Ireland - 1851 Census.

Census 1851 Co Antrim Ireland

If individuals were  absent in America from 31 March 1851 and were listed on the Irish Census of 1851, recorded as being absent in America at time of census – wouldn’t they be on the US cenus – even if they were just visiting?   Both unmarried – children of the family – adults aged 30-ish.  At that age, they may have immigrated.

If they were in another country, why mention them in the census?   Can someone give a possible explanation, please. – thanks.  Regards – Dinny.

ROBINSON – Joseph & Ann – Ireland c. 1852.

On Rootsweb World Connect a lady addressing herself as “Debbi” posted the names Joseph & Ann Robinson, plus their daughter Mary b. c. 1856 Ireland.  There was no email address to reply to.

This was posted by Debbi in 2009.    Debbi may be a Canadian connection to Ann, Joseph and their daughter Mary.

Mary married William James Carson Maclam 4 April 1885 at Marriage Place: Orangeville
Registration Number: 64103  (believe Orangeville to be in Ontario Canada)

I have no further information to identify “Debbi” but if there is someone out there who may be able to help, I would be grateful.   Thanks and regards – Dinny.

Attention little annie, the messager who broke into my personal messaging with another on a completely unrelated topic - I am not searching for nor am related to a Quigly.  Please do not approach me again.  Thank you.  Dinny.

Argyllshire / CONNOLLY Campbelltown Argyllshire Scotland
« on: Saturday 12 May 18 17:59 BST (UK)  »
Does anyone know of a family of Connolly who resided in Campbelltown in the 1700's and then went to Ireland.

This family had connections with Dundalk and Co Antrim.  Two Christian names which may have occurred in this family are Malcolm and Robert.

I apologise for the vagueness of the query but these are the only clues I have.  Thanks and regards - Dinny.

New Zealand Completed Requests / NZ PAPERS PAST
« on: Saturday 17 March 18 04:43 GMT (UK)  »
How does one obtain all names of those appearing in a court case, reported in a newpaper, alongside of the person before the court.    Case not criminal and heard over a century ago.

If the govt. is acting on behalf of an individual who may have been wronged, is it possible to get the name of that individual?

How to go about this please?  Thanks - Dinny.
