hi all
this is a random question really, I have a photo of my Nan working in a Milliners in about 1920 give or take 5 years. I cant see any clues as to the name of the firm she worked for in the photo but would like to know more.
Is there anyone around who would possible know or could point me in the right direction in finding out what Millinery establishments that wouldve been around in the 1920's in the Camberwell area. And or someone who maybe able to look at the photo and see something Ive missed maybe.
Any help would be wonderful
thanks and happy hunting

Wiltshire / patney lookup please
« on: Friday 11 April 14 11:47 BST (UK)  »
hi
Im just going back over some info I have on the Shield family and i was wondering if anyone has any information on Patney please.

I know various members of my late family used to visit Patney and Im trying to find out more info....

Id like to know, if possible, the names of the members of the SHIELD family who may have lived there. I do know that one lady at least was buried there, name of Irene Shield in 1976 and Im pretty sure her father was buried there in 1931. So maybe it was him who lived in Patney
any help would be wonderful
thanks ever so much
