Surrey Lookup Requests / Elizabeth Wilson 25.11.1895 Southwark. Info needed after 1911 census

Could really use some help please if possible. Looking for info on my grand aunt born in Southwark Surrey 1895. I have her on the 1911 census age 15 working as a bookbinder and living with the Barnett family in Brunswick Street SE London. Wondering what happened to her? Cannot find a marriage cert. Total brick wall. Could be someone with a bit more experience than myself might happen across something?

Kent Lookup Requests / Isaac Butler age at death?

Hi all.

I am looking to determine which of the following are more likely to be my 4 x G Grandfather. I have looked on history sites that I subscribe to & although they give year/place etc they don't give age at death. Would anyone have access to records that would show the age? Your help would be much appreciated.

Isaac Butler died 11th Feb 1772 in Hawkhurst

Isaac Butler died 25th Jan 1778 in Kennington, Ashford

Hi everyone.

I have tried on & off for years to try & find marriage & birth info related to my GG grandparents, all to no avail. Just wondering if someone may be able to help me?

The little I have is from census' plus one marriage cert. Info as follows:-

William Roach born 1805c in Cork. Ag lab.
Married Ann ? born 1820c from Tipperary. Possible year 1838? (looking for marriage details please)
There first child Caroline born 1838c (looking for birth cert please) The early Kent census says she was born in Ireland, later census says Crayford?

The 1861 census for Crayford Kent has William & Ann boarding with their daughter Caroline & her husband George Butler who married in 1859 in Crayford.

If anyone could shed any light on this please I would be most grateful.

Hi.
Could someone advise me please?
I am looking into the BMDs of West Norwood 1903 era. Nothing comes up with registration district of West Norwood! Would this come under the umbrella of another borough? Google listings suggest Lambeth, but would this have been the case in 1903?

Hi.

Just wondering if anyone can give me some advice please as not sure at all where to look for the following information:-

Florence Edith Davis born 1889 Battersea, became pregnant aged 14 years. She was made to leave the family home. The child, a son, was born in 1903 and soon after adopted. We have no idea where the child was born, but can't imagine that Florence, alone, would have strayed too far from her home town of Battersea!
Although it would be amazing to find information on the adoption, what we are really looking for is the birth certificate of the child. But without a name for the child we are pretty stumped.The birth registers on-line don't give the mother's name for this period in time. Is there any hope of finding a birth registration in a case like this?

Cumberland / Pooley's of Cockermouth

Hi Everyone.
I have just started researching my mother's first husband's family. He was Ronald Pooley b. 1923 in Cockermouth & died in Germany in 1945. I believe I have found his parents birth's & deaths etc, and will be going to Cockermouth in August to traispe around the graveyards, not knowing at this point where they are buried! However, I am hoping someone will recognise the name Pooley as it seems to be prominent in the area. Apparently there is a Pooley House in Redmain Cockermouth and also a village named Pooley Bridge! How would I go about researching this name in the area and finding if my particular Pooley family are in any way connected to the people this village & house are clearly named after?

Hi all.

Does anyone have access to the parish records of Cloddock Herefordshire? I am looking to confirm the birth of John Lewis in Cloddock in 1792. The only other info I have is that John had a brother named Thomas b. 1796. Any help/advice would be gratefully received.

Hi all.

Could someone help with some look-up's please?

I have found our ancestor on the 1861 census, but cannot get back any further.

I am looking for the birth details of William Lewis born 1831 (according to census) in Usk. Monmouth.

Also, the census has him married to Ann born 1830 in what looks to be Llangennech. On another census she is down as being born in Llanelly. I noticed there was a daughter, Sarah Ann born in Llanelly.  Is it possible for someone to find this marriage please?

Hi all.

Florence Edith Davis born 1889, was living in Battersea when she became pregnant, She was thrown out of the family home. Her son was born in 1903. Florence was 14 at the time and the child was adopted. With no other details, is there anyway I would be able to find a birth record for this boy?
