Derbyshire Lookup Requests / Reeves Straw Ilkeston Derbyshire

I cannot find any information about Henry Reeves other than he married Jane Straw in Ilkeston Derbyshire in 1880 and subsequently they had children named Amos, Joseph and Thomas. Any ideas or help would be more than gratefully received.

Shropshire / Corbett Mannering Marriner Advice/Help Please.

I am looking for a bit of advice if anyone can help. In my tree is Caroline Corbett who is married to John Mannering and they are living in New Dale, Wellington in the 1850s. According the 1871 to 1891 census they were both born in Wellington.The only marriage that appears to fit is in Oct - Dec 1846 which lists Caroline Corbett marrying John Marriner, I will send for the marriage cert but wondered if it is possible for the name to be written incorrectly in the BMD index, as I have the images from 1837online and the only marriage that fits has the man listed as Marriner and there is no Mannering marrying a Corbett. Also, if anyone could look on the 1841 census for a Caroline Corbett in Wellington I would be eternally grateful.

Wiltshire Completed Lookup Requests / charles bowley bedwyn?

I am trying to find the parents of Charles Bowley B: c1836 he married Harriett Church from Burbage in 1858.
I have looked at surname lists for 1851 Wiltshire census but he doesn't seem to be there. On subsequent census he gives his birthplace as Gt Bedwyn so I'm pretty sure he was born there. He should appear in 1841 aged around 5 but one can never be sure. I would be very grateful if anyone can help or has any ideas.

Lincolnshire Lookup Requests / Matilda Coupland B:Eastville Lincs on 1851 census

I am trying to find the parents of Matilda Coupland, she was born around 1844 in Eastville, Lincolnshire. She should appear on the 1851 & 1861 census. She married in 1870 to Alfred Cross and subsequently appears on later census with her married name etc. Alfred Cross was born in Ely, Cambridgeshire around 1846 I think.

Any help would be gratefully received

Shropshire / John Wilson born Wellington lookup

Further to my previous posting I now know that the name of John Wilson's father from Wellington was Joseph.
I have the marriage cert for John which gives his fathers name as Joseph, also Joseph is employed as a puddler on the cert. It shows John's age at the time of marriage in 1874 as 23. The residence of John at the time of marriage is Tinkersclough in Staffs, which is where the family moved to from Shropshire I think.
I would be grateful if someone could please check the census records to see if John appears anywhere as a child.

Lancashire / Dugdale in Lancashire??

I am trying to find the parents of Jonathan Dugdale B: around 1842 in Lancaster. He appears on the 1881 census with his family which includes spouse Jane, who I would also like to find the surname and parents of. On the 1881 census Jane states she was born in Carlisle.
I think I have tried just about all angles to no avail.
The children of Jonathan & Jane were: Jonathan Peter, Mary Jane, Richard, Anne, Agnes & Alice.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Lincolnshire Lookup Requests / Johnson in Spilsby Burgh Le Marsh Lincs on 1851 census

I am trying to find the parents of Sebina/Sabina Johnson born around 1846 in Burgh Le Marsh, Spilsby area Lincolnshire. She should be around 5 years old on the 1851 census, later she married George Walmsley. If she does appear on the census it should then give me her parents names. If anyone can look at the census for me I will be eternally grateful.

Shropshire / Wilson born Wellington Shropshire

I am having problems finding the birth of my GG Grandfather John Wilson. He was born in Wellington, Shropshire around 1847 and he married Jane Mainwaring/Mannering, also from Wellington, in 1874 in Stoke on Trent.
I have no idea of his parents names etc. Is there anyone that has any ideas. I have searched through 1837 online, Ancestry & FreeBMD to no avail. He must be there somewhere.
