Norfolk / Ian R. Harrison, Genealogist, Norwich
« on: Wednesday 07 June 17 03:03 BST (UK)  »
Many years ago, in the 1980ís to be precise, I made contact with a genealogist, Mr Ian R. Harrison (although I canít for the life of me remember how I came across his name). His address was P.O. Box 113, Norwich.

I was in the early stages of family research back then, and Ianís help was invaluable. My research was placed on hold for twenty-odd years whilst I did the family raising thing, and then I took it up again.
Perhaps I may have left it too late to let Ian know how amazingly it all panned out, but if anyone has any knowledge of him, I would be most grateful.

Breconshire / Llyswen House, Brecon
« on: Monday 23 January 17 04:55 GMT (UK)  »
I have two records for baptisms in the parish of Llyswen for the years 1833 and 1834. The place of abode for the parents is given as Llyswen House, and the officiating minister is one William Williams.

Places of abode given for some of the adjacent baptisms on the same pages include:   Church House, Newgarden, Llangoed Castle and another which I can't quite decipher (see photo)

Would anyone have any information on the Rev Williams or any of these places. Thank you
