Can anybody work their magic and tidy up this photo of my great-grandparents? Just the creases and blemishes - no coloration necessary. Thank you!

Could anybody help tidy up this photo of my great-grandmother and her twin boys? No coloration necessary, but getting rid of the large creases and the blemishes above the boys' heads would be much appreciated.

Sussex Lookup Requests / Noakes lookup request
« on: Sunday 19 November 17 19:18 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,

I am looking for the baptism of John Noakes, probably in Westfield, in around 1770.

His marriage record in Hastings in 1792 gives him as "of Westfield", and the date 1770 is calculated from his burial record in 1848, which gives his age at death as 78.

Any leads much appreciated.

Hi,

I'm hoping somebody could look up the baptism of John William Noakes, son of Thomas and Mary Noakes, in about 1835, probably in Guestling.

Many thanks in advance!

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Rosa'a Document restoration request

Hi,

I'm not sure this is the right board for this request -- if not, please point me in the right direction.

I have the attached birth certificate of my great-grandmother, which I've managed to stitch back together from its several pieces. I'm wondering if anybody could tidy up the gaps and tears a bit. If there's any way to add in the missing piece at the top, that would be fantastic too. There's an image of a certificate of the same type here:

I can provide a .psd file composed of the various pieces if somebody contacts me by direct message, but this is the best I could do under 500KB.

Many thanks in advance.

Occupation Interests / CR10 Identity Certificate
« on: Wednesday 02 January 13 13:18 GMT (UK)  »
I have found my great-grandfather's merchant navy CR10 identity certificate. An asterisk refers to "M.W.I. Reg. no. 30246". Can anybody tell me what this is and how I might be able to get a copy of it?

Any other general tips on where to look next armed with the information from this document would be very helpful.

Thank you.

Yorkshire (North Riding) Lookup Requests / Cayton church - Headstone
« on: Saturday 10 December 11 12:43 GMT (UK)  »
I am hoping somebody might be able to pay a visit to St John's Church in Cayton and take a photo of a headstone there. As I currently live abroad it is very difficult for me to get there, so this would be much appreciated. If anybody can help I will post details of the headstone I am looking for.

Thank you.
