Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Illegible words on photo of unknown lady

Hi there
I have an old photo we are trying to id as an ancestor.
No one knows who she is.

Someone with keen eyesight has suggested there looks to be some handwritten words beneath the printed words THE NEW PHOTOGRAPHER.

I'm hoping someone with even more keen eyesight may be able to suggest what is or was written there

Can I ask people not to take time colourising or enhancing - all I am interested in is what may or may not be handwritten on the bottom of the pic.

Lincolnshire / Hospital etc- Long Bennington, 1840's - 1860's

Hello to people who may know the answer to my question (fingers crossed).

I have received some Death Certificates with "When Died" showing date and place.

Place in a couple of instances being "Long Bennington" - nothing more than that.
(Of course I had been hoping for more detail)

I have a Burial Parish Record for one of the chaps and it states ABODE - BALDERTON BURIED - LONG BENNINGTON. But his Death Certificate states Place of Death to be Long Bennington.

If someone was ill in the 1840's - 1860's I'm wondering would they go from their ABODE to a hospital or similar where they eventually died and their place of death was then shown just as Long Bennington....?

I had heard somewhere that there may have been a Cottage Hospital in Long Bennington, or maybe some other institution that would account for place of death showing as just Long Bennington.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I am still endeavouring to locate information on Elizabeth BAGGALEY (diff. spellings) b. c1827 Long Bennington, mother Mary BAGGALEY father unknwn..

I have tried to find information relating to the booklet "Lincolnshire Poor Law Index Part 8, Bastardy papers in the Kesteven Quarter Sessions"

I did search on the Lincolnshire Archives, but was unsuccessful

According to Details and publications list on http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/LIN/lfhs (a link I am unable to find) - there are two references to Elizabeth BAGULEY in 1827, an Examination and a Recognisance. The Lincoln Archives refs. MD1827/180A&B and EA1827/9.

It would be great if anyone is able to locate this information for me, especially if it includes name of Elizabeth's father.

Can anyone help me with this search...?
I have tried ancestry, freereg, free bmd uk, gro (using various spellings) with no success

I have 2 records from the Lincoln Archives...

1) Parish Baptismal Record
Date - 1827
Child's Known Name - ELIZABETH
Son/Daug - ILLEG DAUGHTER
Parents Names - MARY BAGALEY
Abode - LONG BENNINGTON
Occupation - SPINSTER

2) Parish Baptismal Record
Date - 1848
Name - ELIZABETH BAGLEY
Relationship -----
Age - 21
Abode - LONG BENNINGTON
Occupation - SPINSTER

Attached is an image of the findagrave memorial for this person - died May 1848 Burial St Swithin. Churchyard, Long Bennington, South Kesteven District, Lincolnshire.

She was listed on the 1841 UK census with William BAGGALEY and his wife Jane (nee Hardwick).

Nothing is known of her between the birth detail from Lincoln Archives, census 1841 and death information from Lincoln Archives and findagrave memorial.

I was checking for the details to proceed to order her Death Certificate but so far, haven't found a match.

(I should mention that we believe Elizabeth's mother could be Mary BAGALEY/BAGGALEY b. c1805 who could be a daughter of William and Jane BAGGALEY, but no record of them being Mary's parents has been located).

Hope someone can find her

I have a note amongst my paperwork re Mary BAGALEY born c. 1805 Stamford, Lincolnshire - parents William Bagaley and Mary.

It's been some time since I came across this entry and I can't remember where it was from.
And now I am unable to locate the original entry again

I've checked ancestry and familysearch with no success.

If anyone can find that entry and hopefully enlarge on those details for me that would be very helpful.....

Hi from Down Under.
I have amongst the many, many papers related to the search for provable birth or baptism for my 2nd Great Grandmother Mary BAGALEY a record that may be useful but I don't know where it came from and cannot understand all of the writing....

I am attaching a copy that I would like to be able to (1) clarify where it relates to (2) the year (3) the writing in the line relating to Mary BAGALEY.
Fingers crossed that someone may have the time to see if they can help.

Warwickshire / "LEAMINGTON PRIORS" (Royal Leamington Spa)

Can someone tell me what kind of reason might a married woman (states she was born Middlesex, City, London) and her 17 year old son (states born Middlesex, Hampstead) have for being on the 1851 UK census for Warwickshire as Head, Lodger, Merchant's wife - Address 4 Portland Place, Leamington Priors....?

I can now see that the entry above the one I mentioned is the same address and shows a widowed Lodging House Keeper and a House Servant.

Which seems to indicate the lady I'm interested in could possibly be wealthy

If it happens to be the lady I have in mind, her husband was a Merchant Banker, and she was actually born in Guernsey, Channel Islands, but definitely would have BEEN OF London, City.

Her husband was not there with her.

And she would have been 4 months pregnant.

A second son was born 10 August 1851 St Peter's Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands
(Where his mother was born)

Look forward to feedback as no knowledge of Leamington Priors or Royal Leamington Spa and what was offered or provided.

Lancashire / Birth Mary Gallagher 1860 Manchester (possibly Chorlton)

Hi there from down under.
I have a strange situation regarding the 1861 UK census.
The family of James GALLAGHER and his wife Eleanor is listed at 21 Smith Street, Ardwick.
With them is Mary aged 1 daughter born Manchester and Mary BENT Eleanor's mother.
1. I have not been able to locate a BIRTH for Mary.
2. My Great Grandmother Emma was born to James and Eleanor 6 April 1860.
She is not shown on the 1861 census with her parents, sister Mary and Grandmother Mary BENT.
Any suggestions....?
I should have added that I have the Birth Certificate for Emma 6 April 1860.
Have checked freebmd, ancestry, GRO for BIRTH of Mary 1860 - but have not located her - or a DEATH, as she is not any further census records with the family either.
James and Eleanor were married 10 Oct 1859 Manchester Cathedral. Eleanor emigrated to Australia in 1875 with their 8 children - Emma, Amelia, Edward, Harry, Amelia, Annie, Elizabeth and Maude Mary. James had travelled to Australia ahead of her.
