Following the successful identification of some of the locations in my late fathers slides/ negatives - here's another one.
Anyone recognize the white lighthouse and buildings in the background? I'm guessing Scotland but maybe not...probably taken in mid 50's

For anyone researching burials in the above Cemetery, Leeds University have digitised the burial records and they can be viewed online without charge. Although only a small number of gravestones remain (the university buildings were built on top of the cemetery), there are a few remaining (including the grave of William Darby - Britains first black circus owner, professionally known, Mr. Pablo Fanque - the inspiration for the Beatles' For the benefit of Mr Kite). Yorkshire (West Riding) Lookup Requests / 1891 census look up - specific address

Hi There
is anyone able to look up who was living at 60, Primrose Road, Leeds in the 1891 census. I have a marriage certificate quoting this address from 1888 and am trying to find out whether the couple stayed there or if relatives i dont yet know about lived at that address.

Armed Forces / Royal/ Merchant Navy records???

Hi All
I am trying to trace more information about an ancestor James Barwick Skillings, bn Norfolk 1818. I believe he married a Mary Codling and I have found reference to his date of death "28 Sept 1852 - died in the sea off the coast of Holland".
I haven't been able to find out exactly what he was doing there and wondered if its worth trying to find out if he was on a ship. I've looked at lists of those lost at sea and also lists of ships lost but cant find any to match the date I'm after.

Any suggestions what to look at next?

Anyone out there able to tell me what type/ name of this vessel. Unfortunately, I don't know where or when it was taken so its a stab in the dark really!

Its been suggesteed (and I am 99% convinced) that this may be Aberdeen Harbour, but just cant quite match the scene.
Any 'locals' able to shed any light?

I have absolutely no idea where this one is, and have been unable to decipher any of the names on the boats. As I also am not sure which view is the correct side, i have scanned both and posted here.

Any ideas/ clues I've missed.
