Technical Help / Moving text on a photograph
« on: Tuesday 01 May 18 15:16 BST (UK)  »
I'm using Photoshop 7. I have the picture up on the screen and click on the TEXT icon , after adjusting, font, size & colour I type in what I wish, it will appear where the cursor was shewing.

However if I'm not happy with where it is positioned is there anyway in which I can drag the text to a new location ?

Lanarkshire / Tunnels near Finneston St, Glasgow
« on: Thursday 26 October 17 16:53 BST (UK)  »
As the suburban train leaves Glasgow Queen street it is initially underground. Once it emerges just west of Finneston street there appears to be tunnels  on each side of the line. Does anyone have any idea what they are, sewers? burns? I assume they run into the Clyde

Armed Forces / Swiss watches
« on: Monday 23 October 17 18:15 BST (UK)  »
The wife watches these shows about selling "antiques" on the TV. I noticed there have been various military & naval Swiss made watches appearing. How did the UK obtain Swiss watches after the fall of France ? or were they all bought before then?

I apologise if this is entered in the wrong forum

Technical Help / Printer Problems
« on: Saturday 21 October 17 15:15 BST (UK)  »
My printer will not print what I ask it to do. I'm operating with  Windows 7, using Photoshop 7 and a Canon Pixma iP4300 printer.  I bring up the picture in Photoshop and put a border round it. I then ask the printer to print it, but instead of printing an equal border, it prints a wider border at the top and bottom of the picture.

I've tried the various printer preferences ie,borderless printing, normal size, fit to page, scaled printing, page layout and poster printing.

All to no avail, any suggestions?
