Hi I am researching the family of Samuel Dawe who appears on the 1841 census  as a Farmer at Tiverton with his children Elizabeth b.c.1815,  Charlotte and Harriett b.abt1820 and Ann b.1826 and also a grandson Walter (son of Charlotte) born abt 1835.  I cannot find any of them after 1841.
I believe Walter came to Australia but I do not know when or how.

London and Middlesex / Edward Tucker St Pancras abt 1867
« on: Tuesday 11 October 11 13:33 BST (UK)  »
Edward Tucker widower aged 33 married Edith Wright in Scotland in 1900.  Certificate states parents were William Tucker,  House Decorator and Catherine nee Richards.  Family tradition gave an English origin so William Tucker, House Decorator,  and Catherine,  living in St Pancras with Edward aged 14 in 1881 and Edward next door in 1891 with his new wife looks promising.   1901 Edward is in Scotland with Edith Wright and no 1911 Scottish Census available.

I Have baptisms of the other children of William Tucker and Catherine.  Catherine. Emily, Jane and Flora and a brother William.  All baptised in various churches in St Pancras (sometimes with 2 records).  I cannot find the baptism of Edward abt 1867 although there is another Edward , son of George Tucker (also a House decorator) and Phoebe, but I have the marriage record stating his parents were William and Catherine.

I also cannot find any record of a marriage between Edward Tucker and Rebecca, probably C. 1888.
Can anyone help please.

« on: Thursday 08 October 09 05:00 BST (UK)  »
Hello List,
I am still looking for my Mary PARFITT born C.1823 Somerset.Mary was transported to Australia in 1844 but she does not appear on the 1841 census to the bext of my knowledge.  I am wondering if she was in jial at census time but i do not no where to look for those listings.

Mary's convict records state her  Mother was  Mary, siblings John and Jane.  Grandfather a military pensioner.

I would like any information on one Reuben PARFIT ON THE1841 census.  His military records shows him as coming from Stoke Lane.
