Norfolk / Re: Bedingham Websdale

Hi Jacques.

Would like to help but sadly my only knowledge of Elizabeth Websdale is via their Marriage certificate and the 1881 census.
Neither Elizabeth or her father George  seem to appear
on any other census.

Hi, I'm back

The small church on Newton Road is All Saints, it has a rectory  but no grave yard
The other church on Waterloo Road was I believe also All Saints, it is a derelict building and has nothing to indicate
what its name was, the church itself  is fenced of to the public but  the site itself has quite a few graves some of which
appear relatively resent.
Unfortunately it rained heavily all the time I was there so I had no chance to examine individual graves.
As far as I know these are the only two churches in Hainford.
If you would like me to look for an individual grave let me know.
Hope this is of some help.

Norfolk / Bedingham Websdale
« on: Sunday 13 March 05 17:27 GMT (UK)  »
I am having trouble finding any information about Elizabeth Websdale.
Elizabeth married my Great Grandfather Henry Wright on 31st Oct 1878 in Bedingham Parish Church.
My copy of the marriage certificate gives her age when married as 21 ( b 1857 ) and her fathers name as George.
1881 census has Henry and Elizabeth living in Olland rd , Bedingham aged 22 ( b 1859 ) and born in Denton.
I have checked 1837 online from 1854 to 1861 and found nothing regarding birth details although several
periods are unreadable.
Any help would be appreciated.

Ray.
