Well lisa....we got there in the end! And have notified the lady who had the wrong surname originally! The middle name of Fletchder in her son should have given us a clue. LOL

Thank you. After having nothing on Marys family, l now have a lot to add to my tree. l agree about the marriage....nothing definate....but it does sound promising. maybe that's why there's no burial under mary fletcher. Do you know where West Tilbury is?

l am so stupid!!! George and Marys firstborn son was named.....Frederick Fletcher Weston!!!! They are the right ones! been searching for her birth for years....and marriage!! Many thanks again.

Well thank you so much!!! Although george Weston was born in lewes...l know that 2 of his children were born in london......so l think he travelled. the dates certainly seem to match up!! l can tell you that l am very excited about this.

That would be great....yes l will....l have a friend that's looking on-line for me too. By the way.....someone contacted me on Genes, who was also from our line....and said that rudyard kipling was connected to the family. Had you heard that?

Thanks lisa....l remember that emma married a kipling. l have tried for ages to find her marriage....but as they moved from sussex to london it was very hard. l am still not convinced about her maiden name until l see proof!Which l probably will never find. LOL  Writtle isn't on-line....but l am going to see if chelmsford is.

Hi Lisa,

Mary and George Weston are my 3xgrt grandparents. However....l have never been able to find her baptism or marriage. Which one of their children are your ancestors? Mine are from their son Alfred. Where did you find out her maiden name of Hall? That had me stumped too!!! Hope to hear from you.
