https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/189986712I think it likely they are, in fact, the sons of Richard, Alfred and Clifford, as the event took place in the Tamworth area (familiar from Richard's first marriage) and it is noteworthy that the poor woman in question was not Margaret, but referred to as the boys' stepmother.
