Aah great thought it was my computer/ISP acting oddly!  I'm in Napier NZ and the same as carol80, early afternoon it is very hard to get on, but pleased it is not just my computer.  Must try morning tea time instead.

New Zealand Completed Requests / Ashburton Guardian = Death Notice
« on: Friday 18 May 18 03:14 BST (UK)  »
Does any one have access to the "Ashburton Guardian" and would be able to send me a copy of a death notice that was published on the 16th May 2018?
Will PM the name if anyone can help.
Thank you
HeatherR

Added.   (After a PM from Twiggy)...
Have tried searching the "Memory tree" site but his page has been closed and can't get any more
details off there.

Hello Falkyrn,
Could you please send the link to me as well.  Have been trying with another programme with not much success and as our winter is approaching, (NZ, but a very warm 31 degrees here today) it will give me a good excuse to stay inside and practice.
Thank you
Heather

Peter,
Thank you. It is amazing how the old photograph has come up clear and sharp.  There is a very talented and patient bunch of restorers out there.
Cheers
HeatherR.

Wow, what quick work.  They are all wonderfully done, thank you very very much.
My older brother took the photo when aged about 16 and also developed and printed it. He will be thrilled to see them all.
Thank you again.

This was taken in 1958. The top of the memorial was broken off in the early 1990's and photos of the complete memorial are like hen's teeth. It commemorates a battle in NZ and was erected in 1916, a photo was taken on the day, which was rainy and there were a lot of people standing in front. (The lad in the photo passed away about 5 years ago)
Thanks
HeatherR
